Raine could not be the former Grand Templar's and Euchre's child. Simply because you can not breed Humans with Keidrans. Though they could most certainly have been lovers while she was a Keidran. Or even back when she was still Human. But it is still impossible for Raine to be their child.
Because Euchre is probably
Master Strategist, he could have a child with Misses Former Grand Templar (FGT), if they actually were lovers. Theoreticly could FGT got Raine in their Keidran-form (Trace and Flora have a child too), but it wouldn't fit the timeline. Raine's Keidran smell could also originate from a meeting with either keidraniced FGT or Euchre. Leaves only the question, why Trace should make the lover of one of his enemies one of his Master Templar? Only to keidranice him for disobeying? Or because he was a big meanie (cue evil laughter)...
I am afraid that Euchre could not have been Master Strategist before Trace became Grand Templar. Because I'm pretty sure that Trace killed all of the old Master Templars and replaced them with his own hand picked ones when he rose to power. I cant remember when I read that, but I am certain that I did.
Though it is possible that they were lovers long before that, and managed to keep it a secret from Trace. And therefore, I guess Raine really coud be their child. Atleast from what evidence we have so far.

The timing doesn't seem right for that, though. I mean, Euchre was part of Trace's inner circle, and was part of the planning for what to do after dealing with their own King. Both of those events would have to be contemporaneous with Euchre's first appearance in the comic: As a Keidran, pulling Flora out of the way of Trace's procession, with Trace as the new Grand Templar. We're talking about some really tight timing for Trace to take Euchre from "one of his most trusted advisors" to "a reviled and cursed outcast." Weeks at the most.
From what I have gethered from mine and EB from G's conversation, my theory on the matter is as follows:
Trace found out that Euchre and the former Grand Templar had been lovers. I beleive that would be enough of a reason for our dear Grand Templar to find it fitting to punish Euchre.
In the exact same way he dealt with the former Grand Templar. Seems fitting, don't you think?
And once he had done that, he sold Euchre as a slave. What did he care if Euchre tried to tell anyone anything? After all, what Human would beleive a word that a Keidran slave said if he tried to tell such an absolutely ridiculus story?
