My Hardest Final Fantasy Boss must of been, Ozam from FF9(correct me if im wrong) he made me die like in 2-3 round untill i found out that certain armor could reflect the damage or absorb.

Hmm... Uh... Ah... Garland. Fighting him at level 1 so you can class change at level 11 is a huge pain.

Omega Weapon from FF8.

I tried the same strategy as Ultimate Weapon...nope...didn't work. I know there was supposed to be an easier way to start off the battle *googled it*...but my cds are scratched...so I can't try it. :(

Now I have to buy some new cds so I can face him again.

I would have to agree with the opening post. Ozma is the hardest Final Fantasy boss I have ever faced. I have only managed to beat him once, and that was thanks to the auto-summon/Pheonix that Eiko can do when the entire party dies. Even then it was close!

As the resident FF addict, I have to say that Emerald weapon from VII is the hardest boss I have ever faced, and I've had my fair share of RPGs. I spent hours training just to get those stupid mime materias and Knights of the Round summon. Not to mention that he can kill your entire party in just one attack, as if his god-like HP wasn't enough. The only boss in FF that has come close has been the final hunt in FFXII, yiazmat, who has over 50,000,000 HP (and no, I'm not exaggerating).

I've partially played FFX, and the only boss I've had to retry was Seymour (as far as I remember. Then I hit that damn temple with the moving platforms, and I havn't gotten around to playing it in more than a year (once I stop something, I rarely get back to it soon).

I sould note that I do very little leveling in the RPGs I have comparisons for, and that almost every fight tends to take all my guile, but I still manage to beat most bosses with a fraction of people's leveling.

To start this post, I never fought Ozma, Emerald, or Omega from FFVIII.

Ruby Weapon from FFVII always annoyed me, but I know I could've beaten him. I was always just too impatient.
Ultimecia was also annoying, but not because she picked random party memebers. THe entire game I'd had EVERYONE equipped with a GF, I never EVER used junction exchange. So everyone had magic and stuff, which made it cake. Even with Rinoa level 32, Zell level 34, Irvine level 42, and Quistis level 46. Selphie was 72, and Squall was 87.

Zodiark in Final Fantasy XII.

Made so many screwups both times I went into the battle with it. I stood almost half a chance in the second battle but my level wasn't high enough to whup him.

Never faced Emerald...since my game kept crashing at a certain point. :( I actually restarted playing FF7 this week...and I've downloaded some extra patches *had a few before...got a few more* which will hopefully fix my problem so I can actually see what you're talking about.

My friend bought FFXII...I'll have to ask if he faced that guy...I'll probably buy the game used if I ever find 1. 50 million HP...wow...sounds like fun. 8)

I thought the emerald weapon was a joke. I beat him in under 20 minutes without the underwater materia and without mime materia and all that good stuff. The RUBY weapon was harder than that pansy.

i'd have to say Seymour Flux, it took me 2 weeks to kill him! and even after that, i had to kill him twice because i forgot to save. it was a [censored]. but i was pretty weak at the time, heh.
