Anybody got supernova yet? I heard it has every song to appear on DDR... ever. Is this true?

I have it on the PS2. (dunno if there's any other versions, but specifying just in case)

Sadly there's only a small handful of songs (probably about as many as on the other games) and I don't recognize any of them from other DDR games, so I'd have to say no.
There's quite a few catchy ones though, but my favorite so far is Tino's White Horse, a japan-folk-themed-ish song that reminds me a lot of Tsugaru on DDRMax2.

Also, the names of the difficulty levels have been changed, and now they're Beginner, Basic, Difficult, Expert and Challenge. O:

Yeah, those Americans like to go and change the names of EVERYTHING. SuperNOVA is the worst mix in the series. I'd rather play DDRUSA! Least its songs don't slow down or stop every five seconds to make things 'harder.'

Yeah, seriously. The last few mixese in SuperNOVA are odd like that, though one of 'em does stop-go-stop-go on rythm, so it's somewhat interesting still. ^^

There's still quite a few good songs on it though, so it's not all bad. :B

it's mainly ddr for the keyboard, and much harder songs have been made for skilled players, but there are easy songs on the main site

....I. Hate. shoes.

...I was at the mall yesterday, and I was playing a little bit of DDR, and I chose Un Deux Trois on heavy, and as the song started, I discovered that my shoe was untied. I tried to tie it but I couldn't get it in time, so kicked it off and did the song with one shoe on until the stop, at which point I kicked the other off and just played in socks. I passed it, thank goodness. I then tied my shoes securely. But, of course, later, when I decide to try Sakura again on Standard, and I'm getting near the end for the first time, my shoe flies off my foot. I slipped and fell. ............I HATE SHOES.

Apologies for double-posting, but it's been long enough.

I was at the mall on Saturday. And I finally was able to pass Sakura on standard. Yes, I know, its not much of an accomplishment, but it's really great for me.

It's not like I only do standard, either. I then tried Daikenai (or something like that XD) for the first time on Heavy and passed with a single A, which isn't bad at all.

In sandals. XP

I've got a friend who only plays in Birkinstocks and he's AAAd over 100 songs. Daikenkai is quite an accomplishment if you're just getting into Heavy though. Have you tried it on oni mode yet?

I haven't tried it in forever. I probably should.

I do play some Heavy, but its mainly easier stuff like You're Not Here, Jerk It Out, Un Deux Trois, Candy <3, and that sorta stuff.

So... I finally got my Extreme machine out. It's great not having to pay for games at an arcade.

I don't own DDR sadly :( , so I only play DDR when I go over to my friend's house, which is a good reason I'm not that great.

I usually average B-C's on the Basic level *I believe it's called Basic, the level after the Beginner level?*, my friend who owns it on the otherhand averages A-B's on the difficulty after mine, Advanced or whatever it's called. So yeah, I'm a whole difficulty behind my friend.

Can't really think of the song names that I do well on, maybe I'll post them after I go to my friend's house next time.

Ill read over a bunch of this later, now I don;t have much time as I'm on lunch break from training, but!

I absolutely LOVE DDR! =D

At my best, before I joined the Army and (somehow) lost all my free time to play DDR 3-4hours a night (using stepmania online WITH A PAD mainly) I could beat pretty much any 9 footers thrown my way with at least an A, and my favorites with a AA every time. and I was just getting to be able to pass 10 footers (such as max300, paranoia, etc, etc) with C's almost consistently... (all on heavy, of course)

Yes. I used to be an uber DDR nerd. now I am an uber DDR nerd without enough time or people to play with... I have played a grand total of about 10 hours total since I joined the army 8 months ago... Last I played I could barely get an A even after playing for a little while on my all time favorite 9 footers... T_T

Now, if only I had more time and more people to play with stepmania online to help me decide to actually play DDR on the weekends... I still have around 12Gb of simfiles laying around on this laptop im using somehwere... Including of course every official DDR release =D

PS. Ionly play DDR with a pad, so even on stepmania, Ill never use a keyboard. NEVAR! <<
