I've been playing FFXII on and off since it came out. normaly I could beat a game like this in about a week or less. I spent 4 days almost nonstop on this game over the weekend (16Feb07 - 19 feb07) I was just so annoyed with how slow the game progressed cause you had to sit and fight pointless battles just to get high enough to get to the next area so that you have a slim hope of surviving. First FF game that I've died well at all in so it is a challenge. but I went from level 25 - 32 in just for days trying to level. I mean talk about slow leveling. I handed the controler to my wife on the last night cause i had to get my uniform ready for work the next day. in less then 3 hours she leveled each of the chars up to level 45 from 32. I watched as she did it. I was so annoyed cause the place she went to was the area i was trying to level up in but kept getting ambushed and killed at the door. Necro of Nebuisua or something like that. She slaughtered them. I just can't beleave this game is giving me so much trouble. I am just so annoyed with it.

SO now the question is what game annoyed you the most and why.

I also would like to point out i can't access the gamer form from where I am at the moment. Not the websites fault it's a block on the site where i am at.

The most annoying game I've played recently was Call of Duty 3. It was visually pleasing, but concerning gameplay, it was actually worse that CoD 2, and it had some serious problems with hit detection, to the point where I could be hiding behind a wall or ditch and not be able to see anyone, but they could still pound me with bullets and kill me. Just not that entertaining.

But I think this probably belongs on the gaming thread, not really the ranting one.

Square Enix ...well...they hate their customers, and want them to suffer. They do this by screwing you over with boss fights, and severe frustration. One of mine has to be in FFX when I got to Evrae and died after a long fight. I had to spend my time leveling up inside the ship, then fight him again. I eventually beat him somehow, but it wouldn't let me save. NO, I had to fight through 10 or so other battles against enemies who can and will kill one of your party members in one hit. I was also very frustrated when the end boss killed me. :3 so what I did was I leveled to an insane degree and killed him in one hit X3

Harvest Moon MM got me really frustrated believe it or not. There was a little game you could do to get a power apple. You had to spend your valuable time in the cave and fall down holes to get to level 100. But as you progressed, you would start falling upwards alot more, and every time you did, you would fall up like 10 floors. So you get to floor 80, fall back to 72, fall back to 60, fall up to 62, fall up to 68, and so on and so forth.

Kingdom Hearts 2 made me very mad, because they busted another square enix. (spoilers!) At the end of the game, you have to fight the rest of organization 13, and they are all ridiculous. When I finally made my way to the boss (at lvl. 99) He was crazy. You had to go through all these phases, and never really knew what to do. Every time you won, he just came back again and again. And he was ALWAYS HITTING YOU ! AAAH! You couldn't get close, he would just throw you out into space, and you had to fly all the way back. And then he does the thing where he captures Sora, and you have to get to him to save him. His health is continually going down, and this [censored] keeps blocking you and knocking you back, no matter what you do! AND I JUST COULDN'T GET TO HIM, AND I HATE HIM AND HE MUST SUFFER! AAAAHHH!!! o_O (I did beat it first try tho :3)

Fuzzletop I really think you either need a tranqualizer or a bat to the head in a good way (if there is a good way for that kind of thing). I'm not to sure that the voices in your head are all working together to make you the bestt fuzzle thing you are. Just messing with you

Yea the Kindom hearts 2 thing was a pain. even though I beat him quite fast. it was the last boss in the ship battles that got me though. no matter what I tried to do I would always get blown apart. It was impossable to beat. either that or I'm getting slow in my old age. Humm

And if you think I went to the bathroom you have a sick sick mind. I just made some lunch.

Blood Wake for xbox is really annoying. Can't get from behind the frigging convoy to the front intime to get the enemies in time (course, using the much more powerful secondary wepps more often might help......stupid chainguns)

well break out the tranqualizers and bats because everyone knows he is the kings of rants. i also hated that part when whats his name(its been over a year since I beat it cant remember the name) would capture sora and you switched to riku and had to run and save him. WHN kept on sending his clones to get in my way and i kept on dieing. it was one of those ideas that sounds smart on paper and ends up being horrible and very frustrating. the thing that made me break my controller (true story) was the part where he teleported you to that area and you had to deflect those thousands of lasers(how come they look like star wars lasers, they need to come up with cooler looking ones) no matter how fast i pressed it i kept on getting killed. i had to use the macro controller to survive with around one point of health. mind you this was on proud mode. i hate you WHN and all fifty forms of you. but the ending was worth it. if the third game has disney characters im shooting my ps2 and dropping it off a 10 story cliff 15 minutes away from my house. im not joking i will do it.

need for speed most wanted was pretty annoying toward the end. it became so hard to shake the cops while trying to raise your bounty so that you could progress to the next black list member. i'd get so frustrated when i almost got away and cooled down, but then a cop would come around the corner and bust me. stupid cops. i finally gave up and moved on to other games. its been a while....maybe i'll go back and try again sometime.

Yeah, Most Wanted was pretty bad, like how you could have insanely huge bounties racked up, and just when you have only one cop left to lose, you hit a spike strip and lose all of your ability to turn...

That was pretty annoying come to think of it.

Any multiplayer online game people decide to hack or use outside programs to help them get an unfair advantage...er so most of them...any halflife game/mod for starters...hell most shooting games in general. I just don't see the point in letting the computer play the game for you, it's just plain frusterating, not to mention sad that the person can't grasp a basic concept well enough to play themselves, or are such a pathetic wreck in life their only hope for redemption is to *attempt* to make somethin of themselves by "being the best"...only to fail miserably and have everyone hate them anyways...so uh...I can't pick just 1 game that I dislike.

*giggle* That was one of the best parts! And I could do it EASY. The last boss was EASY! Even on Proud Mode!
Oh and it's not how FAST you press the buttons on that, its the sequence, press one button (Sora's) then the other (Riku) to keep them both alive and healthy. Seriously you didn't even need to press the buttons that fast either.

Anyone ever played that old N64 game Mystical Ninja Staring Gemon? There was a part where you had to turn this character into a mermaid and THAT REQUIRED SOME FAST BUTTON work. That was annoying.

Most annoyance I've ever had in a game. That's a tough one. Probably the fact that I can't level up my master form in KHII because the game hates me. I was half way to a full level when it just stopped. Nothing I did could change it's mind.

Most annoying gaming moment. I stayed up all night to play god of war the night I got it, then i'm in the middle of the final final boss fight and it freezes. The lazer overheated and burned the disc beyond readability. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFrak!

Aw man, I forgot about the thousands of lasers part. I didn't know you could deflect with both characters, so I was pressing one block button crazy fast (cause I can press the A button faster than most people...REALLY fast.) and If I didn't have full health, I would of died in a like one more second. That whole fight made me upset, because I kept fighting new things...its like...seriously guys...end the game.
