A tall, slim vampiress walks into a tavern.
"I need a crew, the stronger the better, I've got three cart loads of lithium for an alchemist and I need 6 people, two to a cart. We will travel by night, what you do during the day is of your own affair. I don't care who you are or where you come from, but I can promise you this....anybody that tries to go against me WILL pay for their crime. The first 6 people to apply and to pass my judgement will be my crew."

OK, this all takes place in the Middle Ages in a country called Varvendel. You are now in Bal Von, we are traveling to Dar Goth. It is a 2 week<game time> trip.

Physical Appearance: Tall, slim with long, white hair. Fangs are not obvious but visible. Ice blue eyes. Wears long black skirt, white blouse, and black boots.
Strengths: Very strong will, once she starts something there is no stopping her
Weakness: Sunlight and anything holy
Anything else: She has no qualms opening up a place on her team if she is betrayed.

Occupation: Merchant
Physical Appearance: Green shoulder length hair, yellow eyes, wolflike ears and tail, black cloths.
Strengths: Physical Manipulation of fire, rift(basicly weightless storage of much stuff), alchemy, speedy, shapeshifting.
Weaknesses: Injures himself often with being reckless or clumsy and such, he doesn't like to fight very much, he doesn't like to wear big heavy armor(so his defense isn't strong).
Anything else you want to add: not really, other stuff can probly be generalized by now, waking up with no memory at the age of 8, becoming a merchant to make cash, meeting Jade, loosing her, and continueing on, that was a basic major event history recap.

You might notice I'm like signing up for any and all RPs, that's becaus eI like them, I will sign up for all the ones to come, unless I feel they put my character in too much danger(Twokinds based ones, those keidren would tear me apart, happened once, not letting it happen again), or unless it's sci fi based, I just don't much like all the technoology and space travel stuff, I like magic and swords kinda stuff.

Well I'm joining this one, time for you guys to see my character.

Name(full):Jashobeam Shammeh Agee

Age:Uncertain, though he looks to be about a hundred and two

Occupation:Herbalist/alchemist/traveling magician

Physical appearance: Dressed in rags that used to be red robes, covered in patches and pockets, held together with a hemp rope for a belt, which has an unsheathed sword dangling from it. The robes have a hood which he keeps over head at all times, with the lower half of his weathered face covered by a ratty red scarf. He has a very hunched over disposition and a stuffed rucksack slung across his bent back at all times. A heavy limp in one leg is evident, so he supports himself with his staff, being very twisted and bent, it resembles his sole. His wrists and forearms look like they could snap without a moments notice, and what skin you can see is pasty white and resembling in no small amount the flesh of the dead.

Strengths:Well versed in herbology and alchemy. Used to be an infamous telekinetic piromancer until his bandit gang betrayed him, he's been on the run from the authorities ever since. His control over the red winds of magic is said to be unparreled. Has something for every situation, but with all those pockets has a hard time finding it in a hurry. A veteran of many battles and adventures in his long life span, he know's how to handle himself well in any situation, and is virtually fearless, if a bit grumpy.

Weaknesses:While not as physically frail as he leads people to believe he's not exactly a hand-to-hand specialist. His experiance and instincts help keep him alive in a close combat situation but he doesn't have the stamina or speed to keep up with a hardened warrior. He is not exactly the fastest person on the face of the earth, with a heavy limp and twisted physique he moves quite lethargically unless there is an immediate threat nearby. Doesn't have any kind of respect for authority, can be bought if the price is right, speaks in a wierd accent and known to drink heavily when the oppurtunity presents itself.

Additional Notes: Don't underestimate him he'll blow you outta the water as soon as look at ya.

Edit:I rp with this guy, (or someone exactly like him) alot so I decided to draw him in my free time.

As for Yash. You can't use your already created character for this. You're more than welcome to make a new one according to the sign up sheet though.

Yes, the greatest skill a writer or roleplayer can have at his disposal is flexibility. Anythings possiable for a writer with enough imagination.

I basicly use the same character everytime, but he grows up a little diffeent sometimes, and such. I have a reason for how it is he always starts the same, but I dun wanna tell until I get to it in one of the RPs I play.

Well here's what I think about the 'self-made' characters. Then it's bringing this back to just a sign up sheet.

The self-made characters are basically avatars of ourselves, had we lived in a different world and such. So most don't like the idea of thier character not being able to handle a single thing, so they make him/her unable to be destroyed physically, and they control the mental state. So they get a little boring because you see many similar characters with a large amount of checks to keep them from dying.

Now with characters made specifically for an RP, they bring out those who enjoy it the most IMO. I mean, having a 'self-made' one is great for just free form, but for one that has a large plot and such. Do you want to use the one you created, or one that would much suite the RP better. You wouldn't place a robot in a fantasy realm. Nor a Dragon in a huge Sci-Fi realm (well pending really, but the point gets across.). Thus the character suits the RP alot better.

Also look at it this way. Think of every single RPG you've ever played. Wouldn't it have been boring to play as that same Avatar character you created every time. So you'd never play as Squall, Cloud, PUGGY!! (Suikoden), Crono, Frog(Glenn), Maxim (Lufia 2), Aya, Vyse (Skies of Arcadia), Lloyd (ToS), Junior (Xenosaga.), ETC...

The list goes on. It just wouldn't be the same experience. Nor would you ever know about said characters. You played as them, thus Roleplay. If you don't want to make a new character that fits the RPs needs. You are truly missing out.

Physical Appearance: Russet red hair and fire coloured eyes pale gold skin and black fox ears and tail(tail splits into nine when angered or threatend) she has many tattoos of random things on her arms and legs, dressed in loose pants held up with a thick belt sporting several sharp, deadly objects, a black corset like shirt under a ragged tanktop a knee length black coat with a catch in the back for her tail and black boots

Strengths: Shes quit deadly with any wapon including hand to hand combat(the claws arnt just for looking at), plus she can track and hunt with the best of them better actuly

Weaknesses: quick to anger and slow to forget and forgive, Kiru, her tail(s)

Anything else you want to add: She has a tag-a-long named Kiru who goes with her every where



Name: Kiru (aka Fledgling)

Age: 14-15

Occupation: Theif

Physical Appearance: silver and green hair with eyes that change color with her emotions, uber pale about 5'6'' wears loose ash gray pants rolled up to the knees held up with leather straps and when in company a gray-blue vest otherwise shes shirtless (due to her not being human and almost copleatly androgonus its alright) dozens of peircings, a thick leather band with a peice of metal screwed to it some how, engraved with constantly moving swerling paterns she also has small wing 'tattoos' on her sholders that brisle when she is angry or shocked

Strengths: Shes best with a sword or knives, but she can use water magic but stealth and speed are her greatest weapons. She can cook and survive off the land, and make it damn tasty too. Great information gatherer and has a eye for weapons of all kinds, can see in the dark, shes very smart and knows all sorts of things she shouldent.

Weaknesses: Nosy as hell, she is attracted to danger like a crow to shiny things those she ikes too(both crows and shiny stuff) and is forever getting lost.

Anything else you want to add: She will not be seperated from Kahn(and vice verca)but shes light as a feather with birds bones so theres no reason there shouldent be seven people on this trip sides she could walk

Occupation: Merchant of sorts.

Physical Appearance: Around 6 foot 3, with a cloak. An axe hangs at his side, while a shield rests on his back. He wears gaultlets that have short blades coming off the knuckles, which look to be made of scales of a dragon. His axe is double edged, and has a ruby set in between the blades on each side.

Strengths: Can resist great amounts of heat and is very quick for his size.
Weaknesses: Does not have a very good aim, and rushes into situations without thinking most of the time

Anything else you want to add: He hates rats. He will actually retrieve his axe and begin striking the floor in an attempt to kill the rats.
