Hi =) Long time reader of Two kinds, new to the forum, just wonderin' what people thought about it. ^^

Well, even though we have only really seen him with Natani (besides the illusion) I'd say that he really cares about protecting Natani, even when it means allowing himself to become embarrased.

Lets see...

Flora is with Trace
Kathrin will (eventually) be with Eric (C'mon its gotta happen)
And what male (besides side-character Mike) is left for Natani ?

Keith :wink: , plus they'd make a good couple, both tough, military/assassin like people

Well some odd twist is bound to happen, I'm not going to speculate what, because quite normally I'm considered the idiot.


anyway, it's pushing towards Natani, even though he's the story's hard-[censored],

He hates Keidran, but has come to protect Flora and Natani,

Natani is convinced they are a guy.

The party thinks both are gay.

What story would keep them apart?

Well, It might have been a while since he's seen laura, she may be old, or already married.

Though it would be funny for when they finnaly do hook up, laura pops in the picture.

I've always thought it would be dramatic if Keith was paired up with Flora at the end.

no matter how dramatic it would be, flora and trace are both unofficially married by this point... not to mention that if tom did did that, all of his fans would come to his house waving pitchforks and torches, and make tom redo it, not to mention he would lose all of the respect he has gained, and the only people who would still respect him would be crazy perverse weirdo's.

Well, if what I said ever came to happen, it would be followed with a storyline that everyone can agree on... after all, Tom has his ways. Who'd a thought about the truth about Natani? I mean, right from the beginning when Natani was just introduced. With hundreds of the twists and turns left to go, anything could happen, right? I wouldn't be surprised if Mike becomes a major antagonist who is actually an evil psycho who starts going on a murder rampage and goes after Trace and Flora.

btw, doing that would void tom's reasons for drawing the comic, remember he is trying to show the conflict between humans and Keidrans and being able to work them out and all(note that if i had heard thats what the comic was about before i saw it, i wouldn't have read it - i dont like that stuff usually, but i did like tom's artwork and storyline, one of the best out there[coolest that i have found definitely])

I disagree. First, the question is: "Who is Keith better with...?" I also tend to think that Flora and Keith pair up together rather well. Second, you underestimate the ability to Tom to surprise us. What if the old Trace gain back the control of the body. Flora is better with Keith that with a psychotic keidran's killer. Also, Trace could die before Flora, making of her a widow. Keith will always stay a good friend for Flora but maybe he can be more...

Beside, I see him more married with an another Basitin or single with his heart ready to be captured. Not everyone finish with someone. There are still a lot of time before the end of this trip. Don't get to eager to pair Keith, we need someone of really special for him. I bet that the future reserve us some other choices for him.

Now, I don't think that Flora and Keith should get together, but I don't think that would void Tom's reasons for creating TwoKinds. It's not specifically about humans and Keidrans, it's about any two races (or so was what I gathered), and remember, the Basitin hate the Keidran as much as the humans do. The first thing Keith tries to do when he sees Flora for the first time is kill her, remember. So, in a way, Keith admitting friendship for Flora is more of an accomplishment than no-memory Trace growing to love her.

As for my vote for Laura...she is Keith's heart's desire, so I think he would be happiest with her (not that I think she would be good for him, though...even if we don't know her reasons for running off). But I probably think Keith is better off alone.

Note: I am strictly anti-Keith/Natani

We DO know her reasons, I would believe. Do not have time to find the strip, butI think that we were told in some way her reasoning...

Actually, we don't know them from her point of view. All we have canon-wise is the advice of others on the ways of Keidran females and that they're entirely unable to devote. We are led to presume that this is what happened with Laura.

Later, we get to see what Keith wishes the reason was; the Laura in these strips is not really Laura, just the projection of Keith's heart's desire.

But we never get to hear from the real Laura why she left him.

Clearly he needs to use his Dark Basitin Magic on Mike, they'd be perfect!

The idea that Keith and Flora would get together is patently absurd. It defies all storytelling logic.
By that I mean all the signs that lead up to love, of course, and not to mention plot.

the only way i think flora and kieth will get together is if, trace goes evil again, and hurts flora (emotionaly, cos its worse) and leaves her heartbroken, kieth ends up supporting her, and things go onwards from there, unlikely though.
