History: In the year 2143 the Third World War ended with Operation: Firestorm. The Communist Faction unleashed nuclear warheads on the planet in an attempt to secure victory. However NATO preempted them by launching surgical strikes into the enemy bases and the result was that many of the payloads exploded randomly. Earth was devastated. Eighty percent of the world's population was killed in the following months. The survivors were scattered and lost. For years they fought to barely survive. The people of the world still fight to survive in the shattered remnants of the mega-cities. The radiation zones have receded over the years and survival is now a possibility for hundreds rather than the mere dozens of the last few decades.

There are several species on the planet left alive. The humans are the most numerous. They have adapted to the new world as best they can, and have begun to regain some of their former glory. There are the mutants who have been warped by the radiation. The mutations vary from the crippling to the near non existent. Some have extra limbs or lack limbs, or grown various other appendages. Psi-talent has been awakened among the mutants as well. There is almost no limit to the oddities that these poor unfortunates can endure. The Vampires have survived as well, their regenerative abilities helping them survive the horror of nuclear holocaust. However, they can only survive on the blood of untainted or unradiaded peoples as the radiation is toxic to them. They barely eke out a living in the sprawling cities of death. The Werewolves too have survived the carnage wrought by the major powers. They have suffered perhaps the least by this devastation. Their incredible toughness and survival skills have left them in place to possibly control the pitiful survivors.

That is the basic story. You are simply one person trying to survive in the world. Are you up to it?

Vampire Information

Vampires are about the same height and weight as a normal human would be, but are more pale and gaunt. They appear corpselike at times, yet others are barely distiguishable from Humans. Think Underworld. They can live eternally as long as they have a supply of blood. Radiation and sunlight are fatal for the vampires, though the sunlight takes a minute or so to completely kill them. They can regenerate any wound as long as they have blood they can expend to heal it. Their blood supply is quite obviously used up faster on more serious wounds. They can only receive blood supply when they drink untainted blood, meaning no poisons, radiation, or some mutation that would inflict harm upon the drinker. Tainted blood doesn't really cause any major effects, other than leaving a relatively bad taste in their mouth. It would be as if a human drank untainted blood. A vampire bite does NOT render the victim a vampire, as the Vampires are a breed. Vampires also demonstrate better senses than a human, though they don’t quite match up to the werewolves. In the categories of strength, toughness and reflexes they are slightly better than their human counterparts. They can draw on their blood supplies to increase their speed, reflexes, and strength beyond their normal limits as well.



Werewolf Information

There are three general forms a werewolf can take: human, the half-man (Glabro), and werewolf (Crinos). They have the ability to

In human form werewolves appear to be ordinary humans, if a bit larger then them. The only thing that is unusual about their appearance is their eyes, they contract into horizontal slits. They can regenerate in human form as well as the others.

Glabro: In the Glabro form they resemble very hairy humanoids and become stronger than most vampires. Their nails elongate, but are not really of any combat use. They also become tougher and stronger than normal by almost twofold, if not more.

Crinos: They become 9 foot tall killing machines. They appear to be bipedal canines. They can tear cars in half, shatter concrete and other such shows of strength. In addition, they could conceivably take a shotgun shot to the chest point-blank and shrug most of it off.

Werewolves are tough and strong. In the Glabro and Crinos forms, they improve their smell abilities and their hearing as well. Their ability to regenerate can keep normally mortal wounds from killing them, though reducing their head to a bloody mass tends to prevent regeneration. Extreme radiation, such as concentrated plutonium, silver, and blazing fires also tends to prevent regeneration. Like vampires, a werewolf bite does not transform a bite victim into a werewolf.



Mutant Information

These poor, unfortunate souls can appear like anything. Some have tentacles, others appear of perfect body with no blemishes. In terms of physical and mental abilities, they range from best to the worst. As long as it is created biologically, or is biological in some way, a mutation can exist. Blades of bone, extra body parts, lack of body parts all can manifest in this group(yes this includes Anthros)…As can psi-talents. A psi-talent is any sort of psychic power. However, nature, or its twisted remnants, punishes those with any sort of power. As with their mutations that empower them, they also are subject to some sort of disempowering situation with their bodies. Some examples are requiring massive amounts of food, mentally slow, lethally allergic to substances. As with other mutations, if its biological it works.



Human Information

Humans in this day and age are adaptable and tenacious. Most numerous of the world’s species, they typically group together in societies or gangs. They are your average person from today, if not a bit more superstitious, cynical, and hardy. They also control largest gangs and groups, and as such, they also have access to most of the world’s remaining technology, especially in the weaponry department.

There are several clans, gangs, or cartels that are the new major powers of the world. They typically have access to the old armories that have not been lost to time. They are never really at war, nor ever really at peace. They constantly fight small skirmishes that could erupt into full blown conflict.

Item: (Keep it realistic. In this time and place few if any would have a particle accelerator and power armour. Even in the Human guilds these are nigh impossible to find. Weapons range from AK-47s and their updated brothers, to other future ballistic weapons. I can't really outline what is good and what isn't. Just ask yourself, "if there was a Nuclear Holocaust could we find these weapons intact and with enough ammo to work?" Also any mundane items that add character can be added here.)

I like i like this one but i have question. For the werewolfs, Can there be other spieces of werewolfs like were cats/fox/birds or just the werewolf?

Short Biography: born in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. Was part of a gene splicing program designed to create super-soldiers. Was escorting a US transport [in a modified F-14] when a warhead detonated only 15 miles away. Since the product used nanotechnology and gamma radiation, he was the only survivor (the nanobots kept him alive) higher than planned radiation levels caused the probes to work much better than expected.

Physical Description: about average height and average build, he wears blue jeans, a white tank top with brown matted trench coat, he has long grey hair that far surpasses his age of 30. He also wears a black leather glove over his bionic arm.
Short Biography: With little known past, Finir has a very little known past other than his heratage from a famouse king, this however has been long forgotten by the people of earth. Finir himself shows no hysical sign of mutation other than a crimson red eye kept under his leather eyepatch, his left hand is also bionic, lost when a missle exploded near him.
Finir keeps to himself espicialy on the matter of how he last his arm or how he was effected a thermunuclear warhead hitting his home town.
Finir is also renowned for his numerouse encounters with werewolfs without being scaved, which has given him a huge hatred for their kind.
Item: A medium sized pistol, made for acuracy, not power and a semi automatic rifle with a 30 round magazine.

Physical Description: He's in his late teens. (15 - 20) Also is light in build. He has mid length, straight, frizzy, white hair. He wears an odd uniform that appears to have been from a mysterious organization. The uniform bares a sleek and high tech design, perhaps made for mobility. It's torn and damaged in several places though, covered in stains of blood and a coagulation of dirt. It's adorned with parts of black painted metal, scraped along the edges, used as light armor that he stripped from vehicles and ruins. His eyes appear red and his skin an albino tone. Perhaps a side effect of his mutation. In his wrists appear to be a delta layout of dimples that look like vents of some kind. The back top of his head to the sides appear to have small horns, almost like little nubs. He also has a small, flat tail shaped like a triangle. He's completely hairless aside from his head, giving him a very odd and slightly feminine appeal to him, but this appear is ignored by all the lacerations and scrapes on his body. Not to mention the long screw that has been driven through his right wrist.

Short Biography: As a boy, he and his family lived alongside the border regions of the once heavily radiated regions somewhere in Nevada. his childhood consisted of much labor, under the rule of a maddened cult leader who took in the survivors of the desert and made them his own.

When he was 9, the leader had taken in all the children his age, or so in appearance, and began training them for military purposes, putting them under severe propaganda and mental conditioning with the mind warping rules of the cult. He was considered special amidst the others as he began showing latent psionic capabilities.

He grew amazingly lethal over time and soon was out pacing everyone in his force. One day though, the end of his hardening life had become far worse. The rivaling clans had become wary of the power Teki's tribe had gained and they planned an assault from all sides on them. It was a free for all for the head of the leader and an all out war had erupted in the quarry Teki's people resided in. In the incident, everything he had was taken from him. Only a few of his fellow warriors remained as they emerged from the fire and flames of the battlefield. As time progressed, his allies who became invaluable friends all died from unspecific illnesses, perhaps allergenic reactions from their mutations or that they simply expired.

Alone, beaten, and feral, Teki took to finding his own life. By 15, he had become a savage killer who roamed the ruins of the local cities in the Nevada Desert, learning to adapt to working alone and living off the remains of everything he defeated.

He's extremely superstitious and paranoid from all his experiences, praising worship to lights and damning things that produce sound. In light of that, he refuses to use guns as they produce too much noise. He can act self important from his psychic power, believing he is the chosen one who will bring together the demons of sound and the seraphs of light. He acts animalistic in behavior when out in the field of combat and will resort to some of the most insane measures to kill his target. Even eating out the neck of his opponent! Due to a certain part of his mutation, he has an insane level of bacteria within him, making his bites toxic and severely infectious along with his blood.

Sorry for how long this is, but I wanted to be thorough. Please tell me as whether this is acceptable or not, as I did not exactly stay within the given races, sorry for that.

Not-so-Short Biography: Upon the dismal failure of the South American Campaign, the Red Army leaders found themselves beginning to notice the strains of war on their once plentiful supply of raw recruits. Fierce combat had decreased the population to a dangerously low point, and drastic measures needed to be taken. It was during this time that the head Soviet scientists and engineers were taken off other war research and brought together to work on the key for a militaristic advantage. Utilizing the resource most available to Russia, the scientists were able to find a way to make dead Russian soldiers fight on past the finality of death. Using the human body as a springboard, Soviet scientists developed the ultimate warrior; incapable of feeling either emotions or pain, Battleroids are cold, ruthless killers. With titanium bones, high-tech battle armor, and synthetic muscles in place of fragile human bones and skin and weak human muscles, Battleroids are capable of taking massive amounts of damage, and biorestorative internal components even allow them to heal after their armor is compromised. Ocular implants allow the Battleroids to observe the battlefield in a wide range of wavelengths to an incredible degree of accuracy at long distances. Likewise, built in motion detectors and an advanced radar give the Battleroids an uncanny knowledge of their surroundings.
Battleroids are powered by electricity, which is supplied by a internal miniature cold fusion reactor, a result of the Cold Fusion Revolution of 2127. This allows the Battleroids to fight without needing supply lines for food or water, or even needing to breath. As a final augmentation, the Russian technicians upgraded the deteriorating brains of their corpse subjects with nanotech computer chips in place of failing cerebral regions. These allow the Battleroids to communicate instantly with other Battleroids, as well as process information much faster than normal human brains. Additionally the brain implants are what allow the Communists to control their cybernetic soldiers, although instances of captured soldiers being reprogrammed have occurred.
Despite these technological restrictions placed on the Battleroids, remnants of the memories and personalities from the lives of the deceased soldiers still exist amongst the ruined remnants of their brains. This sometimes leads to instances of insanity in Battleroid ranks, and Soviet neuroscientists were hard at work trying to fix this error at the outbreak of Operation: Firestorm.
The only reason that the Battleroids had yet to win the war for the Soviets is their limited numbers. Although Soviet corpses abound, scientists and materials are scarce in the war-torn land, and only about 150 Battleroids Mk. II’s had ever been completed.
Unit 97 suspects that he is the only remaining member of the feared Mjolnir Recon 54, a team of 10 cyborgs tasked with defending a secret Soviet military outpost in northern Mexico. With his controllers dead and no one in control of the remnants of the Battleroids anymore, Unit 97 has been on his own since Operation: Firestorm, and due to his developed eccentricities, that’s the way he likes it.

Physical Description: Unit 97 is an experimental fighting machine created in the depths of Moscow's Experimental Weapons Lab. A scratched and scuffed Mjolnir Mark IV battle armor suit covers most of his body, with only a few patches of scarred and discolored skin visible. The suit boasts personal shielding technology that blocks not only physical objects such as bullets, but many types of energy as well, including plasma, heat, and radiation to name a few. Due to the breakup in the Soviet chain of command, forward Battleroids have gone woefully unsupplied, and at this point Unit 97's battle armor can no longer activate the active camo device, and the shield only works when it feels like. Several of the plates in his body armor should have been replaced years ago, and the servos in his right knee have developed a kink, causing him to run with a gait that slows him down marginally. Eventually Unit 97 will have to get back to Russia to find replacements for the old sections of his body, for dead men don't last long without careful attention.
Unit 97 stands 1.9 meters tall, or 6'3". Due to his many metallic components he weighs in at 170 kilograms, or 375 pounds. This can cause problems if he needs to go through water.

Inventory: Unit 97 has all of the Soviet military outpost’s ammo depot at his command, but his commonly carried weapon is the M-75B Assault Rifle/Grenade Launcher. With a built-in computer shielded against EMP and radiation the weapon has been his trusty firearm for as long as he could remember. On the bandoliers he wears draped around his body, Unit 97 carries countless 52-bullet magazines for the rifle, as well as multiple 7-grenade clips for the attached grenade launcher. In his hip holster he carries a .44 Magnum Mega Class A1, and several more clips for his weapon can be found on his belt, right next to the dozen or so mines, grenades, or other kinds of explosives. On his belt he also carries a very sharp combat knife, which can be attached to the M-75B as a bayonet if desired, used as a stealthy killing device, or thrown if needed.

Physical Description: 6”0’ Medium build, white tiger morph, right eye red with unusual black star paten round it, left eye is blue, stripes in other places also show unusual markings, wears dark grey combat trousers and black T shirt with urban cammo tactical gear/ flack jacket, doesn’t wear boots because of mutation to paws instead of feet, also has large black over coat and skull cap to hide tail and ears when necessary.

(Another) Not so Short Biography:
Sgt. Blaze Wiles is a former member of the British army’s 22nd regiment S.A.S. and was involved in field trials of gene splicing technology in association with US military’s own splicing programme run out of the Groom lake Facility in Nevada (the infamous Area 51). Volunteers for this programme where drawn from a large selection of special forces units right across the world, due to the high failure rate only those with little or no family attachments where selected. He survived the initial strikes because the unit of volunteers where out on exercise when the Groom lake facility was hit, in the ensuing chaos most of the rest of his squad and supporting military personnel where either killed or contact was lost, though some still maybe around. His history and operational history prior to this where classified and most of the data was destroyed in the EMP wave that hit ever major military establishment. Blaze has found a profitable niche as a soldier of fortune for various sides in the small conflicts that periodically beak out, though he longs to return to the UK and fine out what has happened to his native land, He also hopes dearly that some day he will find his squad mates alive and well, as they are really the only family he has left. His skill as a special operator has to a certain extent over blown his physical capabilities. Blaze, despite his physical appearance, dose not enjoy some of the advantages that other mutations do, he is only marginally faster, stronger, reactions, than your average human, anyone who is marginally proficient with CQC and in stronger than the average person would nullify any hereditary advantages given by his form. Senses are considerably better though, though the enhanced hearing and vision are more of a hindrance when it comes to fighting, the muzzle flash and blast of large calibre weapons (MGs, shotguns, etc) can result in circumstances close to a flash bang grenade being let off, where he can become temporally blinded or deaf from proximity to these weapons if he is not prepared (ear plugs). Blaze appears very defensive to people he dose not know, and even to those he does can appear combative, he dose not trust many people and often prefers his own company to anything else, he keeps him self busy with travelling and training while he is not working.

A rare, but highly useful weapon capable of firing both types of commonly available 5.56mm ammo with no major alteration to the rifle. The rifle itself is based on the Kalashnikov action and is quite often mistaken for its inaccurate cousin; it has an x3.5 optical sight unit attached to the top rail and a pistol for grip to increase the weapons accuracy during fully auto firing. It has many user repairs to the weapon, most of the wooden furniture has been replace more than once and is wrapped in heavy duty tarp, partially as cammo partial to keep the gun together, metal surfaces dented scraped and partially rusted from years of misuse by previous owners, sight cracked years ago, hasn’t been fixed, adds character to the rifle. It has a 30rnds clip capacity. Currently has 6 spare dual mags (two mags taped together with gaffer tape, total of 12 regualar mags) + 1 dual mag in weapon, + 1 chambred round.

Star Megastar 10mm x 20mm Auto
A large hand gun with a large calibre, and unusually large clip cap for its cal. (14rnds). Ammunition is extremely rare to find commercial, but thanks to the simple dimensions of the bullet and cartridge, quite easily custom made at a reasonable cost for such a powerful round. Weapon is unchanged apart from minor dints and scrapes from use. Currently has 8 spare mags (+1 in weapon, +1 cambered round)

Name: Benjamin Kincaid

Race: Human

Physical Description: He's been accused of living in his lab coat... but it hardly affects the fact that Benjamin Kincaid hardly ever wears anything else. When asked, he tends to offer a variety of mildly comical excuses, such as 'It's managed to survive the end of the world, I'm betting it'll get me through the next one, too.' Physically, he isn't particularly intimidating at a mild 5'9'' and 177lbs in his 32 years or so. What -does- earn him his respect is the skill with which he can repair pre-war technologies, and it is this skill which he has employed to keep the ruined shell of the California Crypt in habitable status.

Biography: Benjamin Allen Kincaid was born in the ruins of what was once Los Angeles to Alexander and Rebecca Kincaid just two years after the bombs fell. Unlike many other states, California was prepared. A classified, multi-billion dollar project to construct subterranian habitats was begun by the California Congress during the first Cold War... and when the threat of nuclear war arose again, they were prompt in resurrecting the old project and hurrying those who they could into these shelters. Many millions were left to die when the nuclear holocaust came To the good fortune of the Kincaids, however, Alexander Kincaid was one of many scientists who worked on Habitat 32 and they were granted access to the shelter which saved their lives.

Benjamin Kincaid spent his entire childhood in the Habitat.

He would spend the next twenty years studying history, science, psychology, literature, and math. Taking an immediate interest in science, however, he became quickly popular among the technicians responsible for keeping the Habitat alive. Kincaid had an intense attraction to history as well... and was often found in his room drawing up maps of pre-war California.

When Chairman Huston announced that the surface sensors indicated safe radiation levels, it all came to an end.

The Habitat was evacuated.

The survivors who had dwelled within emerged to face a new world. The husk of what would later become nicknamed the California Crypt lay before them... the bodies of hundreds of millions its only residency. They made their way... with what tools they had... and began the arduous process of starting over.

Kincaid had different plans.

He brought with him his maps of Pre-War California... and using his detailed historical knowledge, struck out for the abandoned campus of the Institute of Advanced Technology. What he found made the trip worthwhile. Though there were no survivors... and he was like as not exposed to a horrific amount of radiation for as hard as the place was hit... he did recover what he was after.

The IAT mainframe was almost completely intact.

It was here that he began his project. Cannibalizing the masses of ruined equipment, Benjamin Kincaid and a few trusted friends constructed the only functioning Electric Power Station in California. With L.A. and the surrounding area reduced to a skeletal framework, the IAT Campus became the focal point for reconstruction. Within five years, the IAT Solar Power Network was providing electricity as far out as San Francisco and San Diego. Within the next five years... a middle-aged, wealthy, married Kincaid had moved to the mining settlement inside the ruins of Redding. There he started the Kincaid-Hughes Technology Trading Company with his wife, Alessa.

Physical Description: Stands 1.73 meter tall, albino, weighs about 60 kg. 15 years old.

Short Biography: He was recently affected by the radiation, when he was about to be killed by a vampire, the radiation killed the vampire but altered Sera, giving him vampire-like powers, though he has some differences; he has hightened reflexes and high speed regeneration. He doesn't need blood, and can withstand radiation. Sunlight however, is as fatal as ever. He also has a heightened sense of pain, making him quiet unstable.

Item: Two .44 Magnum Desert Eagles, and a Claymore. A cellphone which he found.

Physical Description: She is a medium build in her human form. She is 5'11 and by the look of her 128 lb. She also looks like she is in her late 20's earily 30's. Her hair is red and long flowing. She wears bagy clothing mostly of whatever she can find. Her eyes are white with the normal horizontal slits for a werewolf. Her other forms are normal to any werewolf like. Her fur pure white with red marks down the side of her back. She has one other form of a huge wolf. This larger then any normal looking wolf has the same markings as the fur she has in her other forms. Also in this form she wears what looks like a kind of armor that protects herself. She uselly travels in her wolf form because she can move faster on four legs instead of two.

Short Biography: She was born during the 2nd World War because the Nazi's were in power they had found out about what Sarah was. They had tested her for everything the myths said: Sliver, fire, full moon, everything. One of the things different about sarah that other werewolfs didn't have was the ability to go all wolf which the myth proved true in her case. Also, she had been resilate against sliver so when they tested her regenerating abitily too much they wore out the ability to hurt her with sliver that would normaly affect her. When the sliver didn't affect her anymore, She was tired of being tested on and broke out of her sliver prison. At this time, she went to the ally's side to help out here cause but she didn't tell them what she was because she was afraid of what they were going to do to her. In the field, there were reports of Sarah taking shots in the chest, legs, arms and even some glancing blows to the head that healed right off the bat and showed no scars. Also reports of a wolf like thing roaming the battlefield with what looks like to be an armor on. But when they would try and go back to their commanders about it, they were never seen again so it just became a rumor.
After the war, she settled down and found a werewolf husband and live happily together. She had three kids. She was still enlisted so she also went to veitnam and dessert storm. But because of her longer life then most, also that she wasn't showing any aging affects, she had to disappear from the radar. She faked her death by when she was in a heliocopter she had crased in. She went, with her family, to Colorado to settle down. She lived long and happy during the time of peace. Her kids went off to make a life for themselves. The last she heard from them, she had about 7 grandkids in total before the Third World War came.
Then Third World War world came around and ruined everything for her. The Radiation poisoning from the nuclear warheads killed off both her husband and most of her kids and grandkids. Her husband was visting one of their young near the White House, one of the biggest places hit. She doesn't know about any of her other kids or grandkids. When the war ended and the radiation zones had receded she went out to find her if any of her other kids made it.

Item: Her claws are the best things she uses. She has 2 Dessert Eagles and has a few clips of ammo for each that she had from the wars that she was in. In her human form, she carries round an armor for what looks like a huge wolf in her bag. In her wolf form, she carries around clothes for her human form.

Race: Werewolf

Physical Description: Small for a Werewolf she stands a mere Five foot ten inches and wieghs about one hundred and fifty pounds. Her hair falls past her butt, auburn in color, each hair incredibly fine. Her eyes are a bright blue, reminiscent of sapphires. She is very beautiful, but often hides her beauty behind mundane clothes, muted in color. She forever hides her face behind a mask, and threatens all who try to remove it, as if afraid to remove it for some reason or another. When she takes either of her more wolfin forms her fur takes on the color of her hair, a rare occurence, which has many werewolves looking to breed with her, giving her a general dislike of males, for they mostly only see her form and fur.

Short Biography: She was born in the ruins of new york, raised on the streets by her brothers she has become somewhat of a tomboy, always out in the dirt, rolling around with the few guys she could call friends, and leading a small gang of girls somewhat like her. After many years living as the top group in new york she moved on, trying to set up simular gangs in each settlement along the way, trying to establish a country wide organization, mostly of women, but allowing a few choice males into the group. Currently she is making her way through the Dakotas, having established a firm network in every state east of that, her ultimate intent to establish law again, to make sure justice is done throughout the country.

Item:

Shirasaya sword: This is her favored weapon, she loves taking this kattana like sword to any threat, with its sharp edge and fiar reach it is a dangerous weapon in a world where bullets are hard to find.

9mm Pistol: She keeps this little thing at her waist at all times, she is not afraid to pull it and make her point, she is an excellant shot and will use this against anything outside of sword swing. She carries with her always five clips of ammo, each clip with fifty bullets, but due to her network she has access to a good supply of ammo and can resupply often.

Alright, finally my character.

Name: Kairos Leonidas

Race: Human

Physical Description: At 5'9", Kairos wouldn't strike very many as the capable soldier he is. Thin and wiry, he has fought in the wastelands of earth for most of his 29 years and it shows. His weathered face is worn by battles and the constant struggle for survival. He keeps his black hair cut short ,as well as his facial hair, though ragged as he has no better cutting impliment than a knife. Despite this, his green eyes sometime still sparkle with the thrill of adventure of combat. Kairos wears the old forest style camouflage fatigues. Dirty, faded and torn they still serve him well, except on the coldest of nights.

Kinda Short Biography: Kairos was born to the survivors of the Operation: Firestorm. As a young child his family was taken in by the Jaeger Cartel. He grew up training for the Security forces and has recieved hundreds of hours of training.

As time passed he found a spiritual connection which was especailly needed after his parents died of various causes. The Church of Salvation. He began attending and was even on his way to becoming a journeyman Priest when he saw the corruption of the Church and even his own Cartel. The workers spent dozens of hours to harvest what they could from the ash covered ground, repairing and maintaining the technology to supply fresh water, and most of the other back breaknig tasks. Although he knew that only by fullfilling a role could the community survive. The Church of Salvation took donations and established a tithe. At first it made sense, as the priest watched over their flock, the watched would supply them. One day though, Kairos found out that the Church could provide for itself and had done so. The extra supplies were bartered for useless trinkets or other item that had no place in the new world.

He was faced with a decision. Kairos could either expose the crime or leave quietly. He chose the latter. The Community would survive and if it could not, then it would need to replace the Church on their own.

Disillusioned, Kairos left the Church and the Cartel that supported it. On his own he made it deep into the ash wastes and found an oasis of sorts. A small, run down building stood in the center of a barren wasteland. He made it his home and fort. He did ot know how, nor care much why it had a spring and has built a purifier for it. Food is a problem for him at times, but he has built a rather shabby vegtable garden that produces edible, though unfullfilling, food. He also patrols "his" territory ruthlessly. At most a passerby can hope to sneak through without coming within three kilometers of the fort.

In order to survive the ash wastes, Kairos has adopted a facade of brutality. His own cynicism helps him play the role of a vicious survivor who lives for himself. Kairos developed the skill of conversing with one's self, aloud or silently, to help him stay sane. Its effectiveness is debatable. Despite his self-mocking humor and sardonic wit, he has the capability to be a friend. Most however would abandon such an attempt though.

Items: An old fighting knife, the hilts wrapping of leather has been replace with duct tape.

An AK-74 with 5 clips of 7.62 mm AP rounds. He has 17 notches carved into the stock as a kill tally.
A M1 Garand with 10 clips of ammo. Stolen from the Jaeger Cartel.

A scratch built machete, again the hilt wrapped with duct tape.


His home has a roof, four patched walls, a small greenhouse that works poorly, and a spring of fresh water.

One last thing. I am going to close the Sign-Up now. I've noticed that the more players you have, typically a response to your character may take an increased amoutn of time. If you REALLY must be a part of this Roleplay PM me. If there is enough intrest I'll start a seperate campaign, or if there are only a few of you., I could squeeze you in this one.

Perhaps we can separate these scenarios based on the characters current locations. Of course, each one will need a premise that draws them together so that they aren't spread out by a state or several cities.

Yeah, I hadn't anticipated this, so there wasn't any real storyline or plot. I figured one would evolve as time passed. I can't really think of one now, so if any of you have an idea I'd like to hear it.

My character is in the vicinity of Nevada. Well, somewhere in this area, don’t know where, he is currently ‘Locationally challenged’ (Lost), and wandering about.
