There is my long winded rant on what MMORPGs should strive for rather than what they are now.
We know it is possible - we know it is hard - but if you add the addictive nature of these games with the gameplay, graphics and story found in Oblivion and Baldurs Gate- you have a winning combination - and practically a money maker.
Sage has done it again!
Good point, I alway hit my llies when I get into a big battle, that's how I got thrown out of the mages guild. But, then your being attacked and your enemies can swing through their allies and only hit you.
A good MMORPG is hard to come by, and with many of the good ones you must pay. if your trying to find a free one you must swin through the ocean of watered down Runescape ripoffs and other crap.
With many MMORPGs that I've played I either like, play for long hours for months, but one day, my interest in it is gone.
Or the ones that look nice, you download it, play for three seconds, and uninstall it...
Huxley may make for a good MMORPG, because of it war sized battles.
It reminds me of Mount&Blade. it's not online though, but you do have large battles wiether it be you and some farmers, or you and your trained knights on horseback. You can get it online, but it's still in Beta, it keeps getting looked over again and again, updated every so often. You can download the full game, but in reality its the demo, because you need to buy a serial key to go past lvl 5 i think.
