Long ago man was able to use magic, a force that defied science and logic for countless centuries on the world of Anulra. For a long time there was no way to deftly explain the phenomenon.

that was until mankind had discovered nano technology and the quantum computer that followed soon after. The device is called the Kataga counter and it was the analysis gadget to be able to measure The amount of "Mana" one had inside the body... and the rating was measure in ppms.

A normal person has a kataga rating of 8 ppm and thus cannot make any magic, a person with 12 kataga can make weak spells with the aid of the mag. but a "mage" or magi if you want has a rating between 20-25 ppm of kataga. Magi also have a certain physical frailty due to the lack of physical development and heavy meditations in Kataga rich environment.

The mag is a very important piece in society as it enables people to acquire the ability to make "magical" manifests.

The current society of feds have put laws to restrain abuse of kataga and keep people in a propper code of conduct as times changed laws constantly.

Our story begins in an experimental academy where they take average and talented kids and teach them to use kataga as it has many uses that technology would not be able to accomplish on its own...

The students who graduate will recieve a mag of their own as they have been taught on how to use kataga in their environment with responsibility and care as it could be quite dangerous when abused...

But just as there are good people there are criminals who prey on other. and now people are trained to fight fire with fire...
