I got a HP Photosmart C6180 for Christmas and am trying to finish setting it up in Linux. I can't get the scanner to work. I am running Fedora Core Six and there my printer isn't in the list of printer drivers. I can get it to print using the Photosmart 8100 driver but I don't know how to setup the scanner. I have tried Xsane but it closes at startup for some reason.

Any help would be appreciated.

i can just give you SANE's compatibility list.

and obviously there are some PhotoSmarts, but not marked as supported.
