This poll is about some sort of genetic alteration or magic. if you are against these, please refrain from flaming this thread.

Note: If you choose Keidran, please specify what type.
Note2: Specifiy your species if you chose the alternate one.

well, i like being human, it definately depends on the duration, like i mean if you could be turned into a keidran for like a week or something, sure, how could it not be fun? :D
if it was for ever or untill you changed back or something, would you get your full human lifetime? or would your curent age be translated into keidran years? or would you endup as a mature keidran/bastin no matter your age? because if the latter was the case, you could use it to extend your life, like when your 80 or 90 you could gain another 10-20 years at least...

as for the stuff keidran go through, i dont think keidran males go through it, in which case, it would be the same realy accept that keidran can use magic, and bastin are good with swords and strong...

also cat keidran ftw in terms of type, and probly a good black coloring, if youd get to choose(you could scare some superstitious people :P )

Bastins do not have "animal tribes". They are all of the same "design". Fur color and some size differences of course but otherwise- the same.

However there are 2 kinds of Bastins - which we should find out soon after they land... quite different than what you may expect from the Bastin race...

Oh, i just realized a loophole here. in addition, you can only choose this one species and your original one, and you can turn back between these two like a werebeast, exept willfully. you MUST want to be your second Species at least 1/2 the time. and your mature, even if your .0005 seconds old as a Keidran or Bastin or somthing,

as for keidran(cat definitely) vs bastin, i dunno...
as a keidran you would be able to do cool stuff like climb trees with your claws, and use magic, but as bastin you would be healthy all the time, and immune to most poisons, and depending on how sage answer's my question, you would have claws too... hm i dunno, if bastin could use magic, then bastin definitely... bastin look cool tho...

one other question for anyone who knows... how dexterous are bastin?
they seem to have strong legs like keidran, can they run realy fast? jump also?
we know they have good hearing, but what about vision and sence of smell?

and also we know keidran are carnivores, but what about bastin? are they carnivores, or omnivores(like humans)?

I would become either a dragon, a phoenix (since they like live forever), a husky, a wolf, one of the big cat species (most likely couger), a peregrin falcon, or some kind of human bird hybrid, with just wing feathers. That, or an Animorph...

Some people in RL, who know that I'm a fur, sometimes come and ask me why I want to be something different. I always have the same answer: I don't. I just want to be the same human that I always have been, but I'm just into furry stuff.

But, to be a little more on topic, being a Keidran would be... Interesting. The lifespan, the traditions, lifestyle... Fascinating, but I'm still going to say human.

o well iid definately chose bastin then, because 160+ years is more than 120+ years, and also i can see in my mind a bastin version of myself far more than a keidran version of myself... lol...

so ya, bastin it would be then...

hm 1 more question:
when shifting between forms, can you do it by just concentrating on the form, or is it due to some outside trigger, like a full moon? also is it painless?
