Just posting this, and will add more later,
In Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, I'm sure some people don't understand why Kreia was evil, becouse she wasn't.
She Just wants to kill the Force, not for any side,
She wants balance.
On Telos, she does not want your to help the Ithorians becouse they say you can heal you.
You need healed becouse you are a wound in the Force, you make bonds, and drain from the people bound to them.
People are drawn to you from these bonds, and the fuel your hunger, you didn't know about.
I'ma look into this more, and see what I can add, help wanted.

Updates:
Kreia tells you that helping people tends to hurt, it shows the person on Nar Shada(Spelling) that you gave 5 credits(if you did) being confronted by another Refugee, and mugged.
