Ever since my brother got addicted to Runescape, my MSN wouldn't work properly. Is it something with Runescape's java methods or is it something else? we've tried installing the MSN Live, but it would only run, no window, no logging in...

I doubt Runescape could have had anything to do with it. There's not much that a server side Java application could really do to your computer. I'm pretty sure that MS is phasing MSN out in favor of Live, so that might be a reason for MSN to stop working. As for live, try right- or double-clicking the system tray icon and see what comes up.

yea, that's the thing, my bro installed Live, i click, click-click, clickclickclickclickclickclickclickclick- nothing.

Hmmm, try opening the task manager and ending the task, then reopening it, if you haven't already. After that, I haven't the foggiest idea. You might want to try MS's support site.

well, it wouldn't be runescape, i play runescape all the time, and have never had any trouble with msn(3 acct's), yahoo, icq, or irc(all running via Trillian all in one client)... its probly a glitch with msn live... iid say you should do the proper thing: trash msn live! get yourself another msn client, a 3rd party one, which will probly work better anyways.

(if your wondering why i said about Trillian vs msn client, well they both use the same ports to connect to the same server, so if rs was trying to use the same port, it wouldn't work)
