I think that it would be a great idea to have Trace become a Keidran. It would show what Flora had to go through. Plus, I like the picture of Trace as a Keidran.

well he will probably use magic to turn into keidran temporary, as was shown in the baths shower bit in the comic, for flora.

im not exactly sure on this, but i think trcae is trying to become a keidren to deal with the age difference between him and flora. like how flora dies at an early age like 23 or something around there. so if trace is a keidren he will die around the same time flora does. if im mistaken, im sure sage will clear this up.

Trace doesn't really care about the age difference- he hardly thinks about it (yet!) all that is happening CURRENTLY is he's practicing some of the magic he had forgotten. Now that doesnt mean he wont use his magic to learn something like that later- but currently that is not the case.

And as I said before-- It is a horrible idea for Trace or Flora to change their race so they can be togeather. That defeats the purpose of 2 different races overcoming their differences and loving each other. It's a childs dream that they can make things happly ever after just by making the problem go away like that. While yes- it would work - it isnt right and it is one of those things that should never happen on purpose. Now if someone accidently turns Flora into a human forever with no way back-- its a bit different (visa versa) but it still waters down the main moral of the story.

Your right, but it'd be cool for awhile to have either one of them change races.

Yes a short switch or something wouldnt be that bad-- but it would be like filler but not a permanent thing or something they use as a solution.

trace and co. go to a keidran town
needless to say they've heard of trace
the town mages turn him into a keidran to live the life of a keidran,or maybe it cancels out his powers

i mean if a grand master can turn people into keidran
keidran high mages could turn people into keidran

But I agree. Having a permanent change would damage the point a bit; a temporary change would be interesting and fun.

or maybe some weird accident happens and Trace flips their races around. That would be interesting...

same opinion here it would be kind of wierd with trace as permanent keidran but it would be nice of him to do something like that for flora.

I say first temporarily AND permanent

ill explain. For some weird reason that tom yet has to cultivate from the insane part of his mind, trace switches races with flora
(would be cool if trace turns to a tiger, preferably siberian tiger)
then what happens, again for some random reason, is that trace finds a way to switch back, but the switch caused some permanent side effects, like flora gaining human longlivety an doesn't change partners every 3 seconds, and trace gaining some other random stat bonus (using game language here, hope u dont mind)

ofcourse this is only an idea, and can be modified, I hope it gets used
