there is sometimes a cat or some kind of animal in the backgrounds of the comic like this

The penguin is Sage's trademark (from http://www.yoshcomics.com/). He probably colored it since there are few comics, that he colored instead of Tom.

I didnt color it- Tom threw Penpen (thats the penguins name) in there as a cameo - he also apears again as a stuffed animal held by Flora http://twokinds.comicgenesis.com/d/20040915.html

look in the background of panel 3 theres a wanted poster that looks like the one guy in the brown coat who seems to be everywhere they go

I also saw a cameo of Cherry and Hero (from RPG WORLD) in one of the early comics, I'm sorry I can't find it to prove it right now, see I have dial-up and I REALLY don't feel like spending an hour looking for something right now. BUT THEY ARE THERE!

I noticed alot of those when i first read the comic, i spent a while on each looking around. Pen pen is awsome it would be great to see an adventure through his eyes. That cat gets around too.
