LOST: Does anyone watch and understand it?

I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out who died in the season finale. Does anyone know?

That's all part of the suspence, you don't really know. The light in the sky was most likely the borealis effect caused by the electromagnetic field which became overstrong as a result of the uncontained EMF leak. The button itself was designed to stop the release of the EMF, allowing the energy to disappate.

The hatch door most likely blew to the camp due to the large buildup and then release of electromagnetic current in the hatch, however, it could also have been an explosion. Until Season 3, we won't know if Desmond, Locke, or Eko are still alive.

I think Micheal is going to come back some how. I missed parts of the last episode though.

I only seen episodes here and there, its an alright kind of episode with the suspense and all the scenarios create a sense of mystery.
However, I do not like how whenever something comes up, one person from the plane crash has a past relating this or has some sort of strong connection.

no see with that aspect i start to think if it all isn't a coincidence and maybe some greater forces are at work than anyone expects.........locke however is WAY too convienient. SHouldn't all of them be dead?

Now that you mention, it kind of reminds me of the "Evil Genius" theory by Decartes (I think) and how someone is actually planning out everything, kind of like the Patriots in MGS2.

Going off topic for a second here, President Sears in MGS has to be elected in the 2008 election to be President in time for the game. (Unless he's Hillary's Vice President and she get's killed. :wink: :lol: )

I watch lost and can strangly understand parts of it. At the moment they are releasing parts of peoples back stories, in almost everyone a different character on the island has been on it. I have no idea how far in to the second series people are so i will not say any spoilers. Its helpful that there finally showing more links between people and there backstories.
