First off, I am really irritated because my anti-virus is waaaay overdue for an update. Of course the people who are supposed to update haven't (for 31 long months) Anyways, I'm looking for a good virus scan I can download for free in under an hour. I'm also looking for a certain program I saw at Futureshop once. Basically, it let's you create and play your own games. All I remember is that it came with something like 150 different tank models for game generation. If you have any info about this kind of thing...lemme know.

once i was a fan of antivir, even living with the fact that with every update you had to redownload the whole virus-definition. And after Antivir got more and more bloat, I'm using Avast! Home Edition now (you have to re-register it once a year to keep getting updates), it may not be the best av-program you can get, but it's for free. If you were about to spend money, F-Secure would be my choice (i know it from my workplace).

Yes, this should be in the Tech Board. Also, you might want to read this for the antivirus. And kaiser, PM me some more details about that antivirus, I may want to add it to that article. :D
