Is reality T.V cake or crap?

I think all reality t.v sucks, I have yet to see a good show. What do you people think? I also don't know if this thread was made already, but meh.

The first few seasons were good(aka the first survivor, etc) but then they started making spinoffs and sequels, and they just were never as good. The only reality TV is watch now is stuff like Extreme Makeover Home Edition, which is kinda cool because they help people who deserve it. :P

As DK here has said, Survivor and stuff is total BS. However there are ones such as MXC, Whose Line is it Anyway (?), and shows such as Extreme Makeover Home Edition. :D See, even Judge Judy is fake. Judges aren't allowed to insult and yell at the like people in the trial xD Yet she does that. It's all staged.

I only ever liked 2 Reality TV shows-- Extreme Makeover Home Edition - because wow-- not only are they helping people that really need it-- but they build a freakn awsome house AND pay most of it off for them... the house is always great too... and they do it all in 7 days-- thats an uplifting and good show.

And 2 - The Mole-- it's too bad they dont have this show anymore. A game where they get several people competing against eachother and with eachother trying to find out which one of them is a traitor (the Mole) -- all while spending time in places like Europe in old castles and doing neat brain teasers for a (well basically for a free trip to an awsome place) and a chance to win half a million to a million dollars. It just looks like so much fun and their games just mess with your head sometimes-- lots of twists and turns-- like a giant game of Clue... i like it...

I hate moste of them.But Big Brother is number 1.It just real crappy and puts other better programs view later on my T.v.

I can't stand reality t.v. sadly it seems to have cought on in South Africa for some odd reason. Whenever I see one I can't help thinking (in irony) "just like real life". Geez, but I must be sounding synical :D .
Frankly I find life toe confusing/good/abrupt/loud to have time for a imaginary understanding of someone whom I find completely impersonal on t.v.

Uh gosh, that show was frigging awesome. It was just great to try and guess who's the mole. Really a shame they canceled it.
So I guess not all Reality TV shows are bad... but 99% of them are.

I have only watched 1 full season of Survivor. Though the Amazing Race was always ok to watch. (Well, After Rob and Amber went on the show it kind of dropped off but meh.)

I prefer shows like LOST and Battlestar Galactica.

If you like Lost and Battlestar you have to like 24-- if you havent seen it buy the dvds now! Drama/Action TV better than anything else on TV-- Lost is a close second... Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis are really cool though-- i think the charm of those shows come from the awsome comedy in a Sci-fi action show... something Battlestar lacks- but they make up for it with awsome drama and action...

Point of all that is this- Cinimatic TV shows are becoming more popular every year-- and its a great thing too- many people wished a Movie could go on and on-- now they practically do and you dont have to buy a movie ticket... They have had about 3 bombs (they died) in the past 3 years that i know about- but the majority of them have been greatly successful-- and those are the ones with great stories! (Btw Surface is really cool too) - We all know Reality TV shows bomb all the time-- but thats because they are so cheap they are easy to make and aren't a big loss...

I really hope Cinimatic TV takes the place of Reality shows...

If it's non-reality t.v. I'll join in! I am watching the "new" season of Alias, I've always been a bit of a fan. Battlestar Galatica? I've watched a couple of programs and thought it was pretty good. On the whole though I'm usually watching news and documentaries, sometimes cartoon network if my medication dosage has been especially high :shock: .
