I saw a 3-D graphics engine today in class. I know, its just a graphics engine. BUT of ALL the languages it could be in it was in Visual Basic! So now I need to learn how to make a 3-D graphics engine like that. Of course I dont have much programming experience and I dont even know where to start to make 3-D, But VISUAL BASIC! I mean seriously. How can someone make something soo good in a langage that is soo bad?! Of course I got all jealous and depressed. Then I come home and see a new TwoKinds comic and I was all like *faint* YAY! Anyway... anyone know how to use the Winsock control in VB, I dont like internet tutorials, and graphics, simple 3-D graphics?

I've not used much VB, but I have a question. Was it VB, or VB.NET? I don't know how good old VB is, but VB.NET is a really good language.
