Well, what better place than the tech board to post pictures of that monster you use to surf the internet, download files, listen to music, and render 3D images, all at the same time!

In other words, show us your PC setup.

Here's mine.

Edit: The monitors have since been switched around. The one on the left is now on the right and vice-versa.

pff. my Hardware was more expensive I bet.

Well the nice, black Laptop is my T42 (running Ubuntu 5.10) - 2373-VMH - 1,8 GHz - 1,5 GB RAM - 60 GB HDD - ATI 9600 - WLAN a/b/g - BT.
the white box under the monitor behind it should be kind of a server with a mobile Athlon XP 2000+, but i never finished it, since the cooler is to loud. And the black thing on the far left is my Chieftec Tower - Athlon XP 2500+ - only 512 MB RAM and a crappy XP, which has not been reinstalled since over a year now. (no it has no window, its just black)

*Sets XP Reinstall on ToDo-List*

Now someone to over-bid?

honestly this computer sucks, it is a temp machine till i can afford the parts i have my eye on, the only thing in here i am gonna use in the real machine when i build it is the cpu.

currently,
2.7ghz celeron ( i got it for 10$ so i could not turn that down)
old trigem glendale mobo
1gb pc2700 ram
dvd+-rw(plextor px-716a)
2 40gb WD hdds, 1 60gb wd hdd
about 7 fans ( the mobo is crap and overheats)(+an extra PSU ontop of the comp to power all the fans)

board is a pice of crap ( no agp or pci-e) so i am stuck with the 64mb shared mem card onboard till i get a new mobo and card.

90% of the parts in this comp came from old ones people broke so i spent all of 40$ on building this.

Note that the monitors have been switched around. And what's on them. I have #Twokinds, the chatroom in one window, and the Twokinds forum in the other. :3

Just put in a fan controller and a new fan grill on the side vent. Also shown in these pics is the blue CCFT, which I dont normally have on.

With the new controller, I can make the comp sound anywhere from silent, to a jet taking off. Quite useful for sleeping at night. Or listening to music.
