[don't ask about the screename]
But I came to this forum in cearch of my friend, and hoping she'd would reconize her harrypotter.com screename. See the story is I would get online every day and roleplay with her. The one day I had to move. When we got into our new house and everything was settled I realized that I lost or chat room link. I haven't been able to find her, I looked everywhere [I know this is stupid but] I even googled her screename. I miss her very much and I hope she sees her "old" screename. Once again sorry to interupt.

Couldn't hurt to send her a postcard by snail mail.

That only works if you have their ADDRESS you know...and seeing as they were friends only in a chat room from what s/he said- and s/he hasnt emailed her - i highly doubt they would have real life addresses-- the thing about moving seems to have been either they only had the site writen down or memorized-- or even just lost the data on the computer...

Honestly-- I would be very surprised if s/he did have her address... even more surprising though is you saying to send a postcard as if they did know...

Christ, you really love misinterpreting every single post I make. Honestly, you attack everything I have to say.

Now then, I read through the original post, noticed that person said they were moving, and assumed they had been real life friends, who wanted to keep in touch as pen pals. She doesn't distinguish her friend as being internet-only. So, innocently enough, I assumed she would still know where her friend lived at, and could send her a postcard, even if she had lost track of things like chat room links or a phone number.

So would you please get off my back already? I listened to this person's problem, responded in what I considered to be a constructive, original manner, and immediately got shot down by some forum "veteran".

And here comes your millions of adoring fans, so eager to gain e-brownie points they'll suck up to you at all costs.

**Admin Edit**

Posts like this are extremely discouraged and against the rules. This user was given a Strike for this post, and it will not be taken off until this user either keeps with a positive attitude or gains 2 more to be permanently banned. I do understand that people have bad days, or just have no tolerance or liking for others, but this is NOT the way to show it. If you have a complaint against a moderator, please send me a PM and I will reply ASAP with my decided action.

Again, please keep this an enjoyable place, there’s enough crap in the world as it is.

**Remember, this is only a warning, and this is not the first person its happened too**

Oi. That was a low blow, man.

And to chica - I hope you find your friend. If it was anything like me and SI, you'll randomly find them. Just keep looking.

I interpreted it pefectly it seems-- you did read into it the wrong way- Maybe if you got it right the first time or-- dare I say not think of it as if im attacking you rather than correcting you -
I dont attack I just wonder how you come to the conclusions that you do- its a mystery to me and to just about everyone else it seems-- I wouldnt be "on your back" about it if you were nice about it-- for instance instead of claiming that i am attacking you and misinterpreting what you say you could just say "Yeah i guess I read that wrong" or saying this part minus all the other stuff-
"I read through the original post, noticed that person said they were moving, and assumed they had been real life friends, who wanted to keep in touch as pen pals." "So I thought maybe s/he over looked that..."

Wanna stick with Aviation sayings?
"You wont fall if you know how to fly."

And just because someone agrees with me doesnt mean they're sucking up- stop lashing out at others because of your incompetence. I wont insult you for making a mistake- though i might point mistakes out to you- in hopes that you will correct or remember them so you dont make them again- i will however put you down if you defend your stupidity with rude statements and idiotic observations.
