It's come dopwn the pipes that Peter Jackson has signed on as the Executive Producer of the long speculated about Halo Movie. And of course the very talented Fran Walsh will be working on it as well.

As in For Real.

WETA Workshops is expected to be heavily involved once the movie begins production. This is all direct from Bungie.

I Repeat: THIS IS NOT A HOAX ...well it's not now anyways.

The Master Chief had better be black.

Seeing as how nobody gets to see the Master Chief without his helmet on, it doesn't matter WHO plays them. Also, you would think that the people that do the voices of Master Chief and Cortana would still do the voices for the movie too. I just hope they don't screw it up by changing everything to 'make it better' because Halo is already f**kin' awesome and those retards in Hollywood would just mess things up and piss people off!

Bungie has taken the neccessary precautions to make sure Halo isn't ruined by Hollywood. Based on what I've read on news updates on the Bungie website, they've been toying around with a Halo movie since after Halo 1, but they didn't want to do anything with it just yet until they've had time to sort things out. In giving themselves time to think, they've been in contact with many different people and figured out how to have as much say in the movie-making process of Halo as possible. In fact, to settle any creative differences that might arise, Bungie has constructed a Halo "bible" that contains extreeme details of characters, aliens, planets, weapons, you name it, it's got it. I could go on, but I can easily sum everything up by just saying that Bungie has taken a lot of measures to make sure that the Halo movie is gonna be a huge success.

I'm betting that they'll get Lawrence Makoare to wear the MC's armour.

Morgan Freeman is going to play MC, he is the coolest actor ever. Not many people can pull off playing god (Bruce Almighty)

It's a shame Halo sucked so bad. I'm sure this movie will as well. Just how many movies based off of games were actually good? (None of the Uwe Boll films, Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat... all horrible!)

Yes It's a shame Halo sucked so bad... In your opinion.

The entire Halo community was very happy to hear that Uwe Boll won't be allowed near this movie with a 90ft pole.

With any other person heading up this project, even I would consider the movie doomed to a most horrible horrible fate. With Jackson at the helm I'm willing to atleast consider that it wont be a total disaster. :lol:
