energy drinks have a negative effect on me.i'm pretty sure it's because of my mental disorder.

There is no medical research evidence that suggests this is even possible.

okay, now let's look at this from the point of view of someone who forgot to take their medication, and is often confused and forgets things he learns.

Actually, I wouldn't discount it immediately. There's precious little medical research on the full effects of the herbal additives to energy drinks period, and considering how we only vaguely understand how mental illnesses work, I'm more than willing to consider that it's easily possible that either one or more herbal compounds or the high caffeine dosage, or a combination of the two, or something else, could potentially cause an adverse reaction.

*shrug* It might just be personal biochemistry too. The problem is "there is no medical research evidence" cuts both ways in some realms, including energy drinks, for many cases.

I drank a Spike over two hours ago and I'm still pretty "AAAHHHH!!!!!!" I can't believe it has 1500mcg of B12. I feel like I'm spiking all over. Where I'm like super hyper and twitchy or super hyper but out of energy. I only regret chugging it all before class BUT IT WAS WORTH IT!!!. AAHAHH!!! I thought it tasted great, too. Like lemon-lime. I can't believe how many warnings it has.

I feel like this

No thanks. I see these 15-17 year olds drinking that stuff and I'm like, you don't need that junk, you're hyper and unproductive enough as it is.

Seriously!
I'm expecting to see an especially ADHD-ish teenager drink too much of the stuff, and just accelerate to the point where they actually leap forward in time...
XD

I don't touch the stuff - I'm quite convinced that it would likely give me a massive coronary, or a stroke...

Upon further reflection, that does make sense...considering that Ritalin is actually a stimulant...

Hmmmmm...

So maybe they would leap backward in time?
XD

Ugh, my friend has trying to get me on Monster for the past four years.
Its liquefied caffeniated candy. I can barely even stand the smell.

Besides that, I crash when I eat a lot of sweets and I crash hard. No fun.

Im confident in my natural resilience to sleep and I enjoy being laid back, rather that a sugar fueled bullet

If all the energy drink I've ever drunk..errr...drank... damn, I have no idea which word to use... anyway, if all of it was added together, it would equal around.... one fifth of a liter. I tried a Red Bull and thought it tasted like fermented Pop Rocks. Then a few years later I tried a Nos, and though it just tasted meh. Personally I prefer Sobe, and I drink like... one of those every two to three months or so. Yet even without these substances, I am quickly becoming nocturnal. If my parents didn't tell me to go to sleep, I would just stay awake until I saw sunlight. This post got a smidge off topic, but at least it's the same off topic that everyone else is mentioning.
