Hey, I've seen Inukami, and while it is disturbing on SOOO many levels, it is also hilarious, if you can put up with that kind of disturbment. <.< After all, there is a hot foxgirl as a prominent character in the series >.>

I'm going to jump on this bandwagon and Agree with Sable. Most of the time, you will see the Crotch Tufts when there is a sexual situation around. If there is just plain No-Clothes-moments, there is not real need to bother because it's detail that can be left out without any hindrance to the story/characters. It's almost the same way as the Chest-tufts. Sometimes you see that even characters are missing it at all just for the sake of how they were drawn (like Kat)

All right, it was a BS theory to start, but I've decided that it has merit. When Keidran (or at least the females) become aroused, there is a physical change in addition to the chemical effects. The fur covering their pubic area, which normally lies relatively flat, raises, creating a noticeable tuft over their crotch. This is to allow easier access to the reproductive organs when they are aroused and interested in mating. Crotch fluff seems to be exclusive to females of the species, with the exception of Euchre (So sayeth I, though we've only really seen one male without pants, I think).

And Kat never has the fluff because she hasn't been shown aroused, and I don't think she will. Kathrin appears to be somewhat of an asexual, as she appears not to be even slightly aroused when she sleeps naked with Eric, though maybe he's just not her type. Or Kat shaves.

And randomly, I now want to see an arc that has Kathrin actually finding a guy (or girl) that she finds attractive and they will help her discover a different kind of love than Eric's. I volunteer for this assignment.

I agree with that but think it would be more triggered by adrenaline than just being aroused because Natani is pissed beyond all reason when Keith attacks her and her puff is like a small shrub.
