Inter-dimensional travel is theory for now, but the theory is black holes. If we can get black holes stabilized, then bam, instant inter-universal travel. I'd like to die being one of the people testing this theory.

If one day we wake up to see three moons, a planet disturbingly near us and some dragons flying around, we know LHC was an epic success.

Update: I want to die seeing the planet mentioned above crash into us.

The theory is that black holes are connected to white holes. If this was true and you got sent through it without being turned into a very small piece of superdense particulate you would end up who knows were and chances are nothing would survive even if you got it stable.

how would I want to die? hmmm bah it wouldn't matter as long as I'm at rest afterwards. Lifes a long misrible joke that serves no meaning to me other then to accomplish a few things in the time I have before the punch line is deliverd. Death will bring peace and confort I've never felt in life. So I see it as a good thing.

Wasn't it wormholes? Black holes are collapsed stars, and wormholes are magic doors through space, time, and reality.

Yes, but you see, the current theory is that black holes either create or are wormholes.

and the sad thing is, if you die in a blackhole, you would basically be dying forever, considering how time stretches in there.

Eh? I was under the impression that wormholes were randomly occurring events that were only a theoretical possibility at this point, while black holes formed from dying stars that collapse in on themselves and develop a massive gravitational pull, and give off "Hawking radiation" (I don't know much about that. All I've ever heard about that was a while ago on some discovery channel special, and they said something about the mass at the center of the black hole being shed in a thin line out the front and back center of the black hole's "disk") which causes them to shrink slowly shrink over time. Like I said, I don't really know much on the subject, and theories seem to change on a daily basis, so I could probably be wrong. I've just always been led to believe otherwise. I'll have to do some research sometime soon.

You could look at it like you are dead forever, or that you are in a REALLY slow process of dieing for ever. Being time is stretched, it would take a really long time to finally die. But hay, at least what if left of you will be around for a LONG time.

*sigh* this is an obituary post for someone I half-knew who died peacefully in their sleep. Carla, I didn't know her much, but many people remembered her by wearing pink shirts to school on the following day.

May her soul rest peacefully.
