Well, as I continue my very, very slow progress with my slash-fic and desperately try to find time to read everybody else's work too, I thought I'd pass something off on you all here to sort of tide you over.

Ana had a bit of contest over on her site's forums, where we were to draw our characters cosplaying as a different forumite. Well, far be it from me to pick something obvious or easy. So I did Avvy cosplaying as Ana. ;) I feel fine with posting it here because of the crossover between the forums. That and I think there are a few of you here who'll get a kick out of it. :P

It's done in pencil and not cleaned up very much simply because of the time sink involved. Well, that and Ana does most of her work in pencil (albeit cleaned up and much much better pencil), so I wanted to give it a whirl. And I felt that the stylistic similiarity would help make it clear who Avvy was playing (as well as the pose, which is based off Ana's pose in the second AnaKuro comic).

I'd better get back to everything else I have to work on. I'm going to try very hard to get the next short chapter of the slashfic together in the next couple of weeks, but we'll see how much I'm able to concentrate on it... With all the drama between Keith and Natani, I don't know whether my inspiration will be ruined or enhanced. :P

I just now noticed that your avatar has an earring.

Oh my. :shock: I... I do not know what to say to a female-looking avwolf.

It looks a little real.. How the heck did you do it?...

*sigh* It seems like genderbending is taking over for the time being. might as well settle in. What's next in the avwolf projects?

You try drawing those darned things. They're difficult! :P

I will admit to really liking pencil shading. I might play with mixed inks and pencils in the future. I also borrowed out of Fuzzlepup's recent notes about drawing hair without shapes, partly because I couldn't figure out any other way to do wavy hair.


The slash-fic. It's always next. :P

Drawing-wise, either slashfic asides (unlikely) or one of my goofball comics, probably. I'd love to do "Borrowed Ladder," but it's a little ambitious. I'll probably continue the one that I've got going. Though I haven't posted the first one here yet. Will likely do that soon-ish, though I might go ahead and rebrand it for this site.
