Well, it's about time I made one of these I guess. This is where I'll be uploading anything I draw. Most of it will be on lined paper since I will be sketching in school for most of the time.

This first one is a little introduction thing I did for a character/fursona/personality of mine.

Image

I obviously did some mistakes when I scanned it, but I don't want to bother with doing it again.

The next one is the first sketch I ever did of Sithil, copied from lined paper to regular blank paper.

Image

I forgot to add the line for the shirt on his left when I copied it over, and didn't notice it until after I had scanned it. Once again, can't be bothered.

I will be updating this every now and then, but probably not too regularly. Feel free to comment, and criticism would be very much appritiated. Especially the harsh kind. Please, be brutal.

EDIT: Also, 1000th post. What are the odds, huh?

These are abominations, alright.

Kidding.

You two are such ***holes to each other. I love it.
Or is it "you're an ***hole to yourself? .-.

Anyway, I sees improvement from the first sketch to the lined-paper dealie. No, I'm not referring to the coloring/shading stuff. Keep it up.

I can't explain it myself to be honest. And stop making that up-side-down-smiley-thingy, I get dizzy every time I have to turn my head up-side-down.

And that makes two people it's pissed off. XD

I'm pretty sure it's up to you whether he's you or a character/friend. But everyone has a different idea as to what makes a fursona, so you make the decision.
Or, y'know, say "character/fursona/personality" every single time you're referring to him. =P Indecision for the win.

*Scrathes head*

Great, now you got me pondering. Now I won't get any rest until I've sorted this out. Damn you!

._.
._>
<_>

Great, I've contracted wandering eyes syndrome.

*eye flops out*

Really good, but I see a certain length distortion/flatness of the body height.

I catch it alot in my art.

Here's a little thing I did during some free time in school. Just some basic models.

Image

Hopefully I'll have more stuff up tomorrow, if I get around to it.

EDIT, aka. UPDATE!:

So, I had a little fun just sketching while I was home sick during the week. This is what I managed to create.

Image

I was originaly thinking about drawing some kind of liquid running down his body, but I couldn't make it look good so I scratched that idea. What kind of liquid? I don't think youneed to know that. Maybe some other time, when I've gotten better. And unless you've allready realised it, that's Sithil.

Critisism is as always welcome.

*shudder* let it be water...

I think the arms may be a little to thin, and the head may be a bit small. The torso itself may be a little to enlongated aswell. Just going by my eye here as I can't draw anatomy for pudding

Now that you say it...

His left arm might be a bit too thin, but I think I got the right one pretty good. And if anything I should have made his head a bit longer. I am perfectly happy with the torso however. Though there is always room for improvement, ofcourse.

I'd also like to say that I am open for any suggestions or ideas, as my imagination is very hard to get running when it comes to drawing, and I quickly loose intrest in a lot of the stuff I start on.

two words, absorb style.

In other words, replicate art so you can get used to drawing, then draw other things, that way you'll get a kickstart when you do your own style.

I tend to do that when i'm really down and out on what to draw for an object.

This is a little thing I did during tuesday's math class. Why? Because when the teacher is giving a half an hour long speach on how you calculate the most basic forms of algebra, you get bored.

This actually happened. This tuesday. It was not a good day.

Hey, I've done that a bunch of times! Actually one time I woke up, thought it was 7:30 (the time to get up for school) and started going to school. I was almost there and saw that the REAL time was 5:00am! I felt like an idiot

That actually happened once to me as well, back in high school. Atleast it's better to feel like an idiot than to feel the stress I did. Because man, I was so stressed I almost threw up. Partly because I had missed my first lesson, and because I had gymnastics in five minutes. And I didn't know where we were supposed to be. And no one answered my calls. And they couldn't even help me at the reception at school.
In the end, a friend of mine who doesen't have the same schedual as me walked in at the reception as well, and knew exactely where I was supposed to be. I got half an hour late.
Like I said, it was not a good day. At all.

I really felt like doing that, but I was sick and home from school the whole last week, and therefore couldn't risk missing anymore classes. Wich only added up to the stress and desperation I allready felt.
Not. A good. Day.
