Yeah...there's been a lot of that "I am a man!" lately... :? (Not that I'm not entirely supportive of Natani choosing to be female, but Natani has to choose...and I hope that it won't be seen as a "realizing she was wrong all along" but more of just a shift).
Agreed. It would seriously mess up her characterization to play a choice that way. In many ways, I hope that her masculine side, to a greater or lesser extent, stays with her. And not just because it makes her a bit more aggressive to balance out Keith's tentative side.

For now, I'm still sticking to the idea that Natani is just confused about feelings for Keith...like if a guy suddenly had feelings for another guy but thought he was straight he'd do a lot of, "I'm a guy...I can't have feelings for him!"
To me, Natani's comments really make it seem like she's not sure what sorts of things a real man feels, so she assumes anything that's the slightest bit of a "weakness" is a part of being a woman, which she utterly rejects. I tend to assume that a man who is tumbling toward bi would think "I can't have feelings for him.
He's a
guy!" We (men) are all aware that we can have "feelings" and fall in love. The only shock is that it would be with another man, not that it happens at all. ;)

I'm inclined to agree with you on the real point of your second paragraph as well, though -- This is all a result of the fact that Natani's view of men is that they fall in love with women, and she is a guy, ergo she must fall in love with a woman. Keith is not a woman, therefore she cannot fall in love with him. She's struggling with a worldview that does not permit the emotions she knows she's feeling, so she's trying, very very hard, to deny that these feelings exist.
