That seemed a bit over the top...

Um no, he was throwing their guilt trip right back in their teeth. I understood it perfectly.

and am betting the jerk wished he'd never tried that.
I honestly believe there are people who manage to go through their entire lives thinking they are the onliest people that matter.

No no, it's just that...

I'll be blunt. I'm calling BS.
It was too drastic a mood shift for me to believe it. >_>

I would have believed it, until the "NOW GET OUT BEFORE I SET YOU ON FIRE" part. There rest of it I can see happening just fine.

Eh, telling them off can get you in trouble most of the time sadly. I usually found ways to piss them off without it if they messed with me when I worked retail.

I worked Electronics dept for a while, and some lady come walking into the department. I ask her if I can help her with anything, she turns around to face me gabbing away on her cell phone and in the most condescending tone possible just says "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
I walk back to my counter and when she gets off of the phone ( a good 10 minutes later) I ask her if she is finding everything alright.

Lady: "I TOLD YOU BEFORE, I .... AM..... FINE!"

me: ok (walks back to counter)

a couple minutes later she walks up to my counter with a box of cereal and some oreos, and slams it on the counter

Lady: "so are you gonna ring it up or what?"

Me: "This is the electronics register, if you dont have electronics merchandise the checkouts are up front"

The lady walks round the counter grabs a $2 pair of headphones and slams then down on the counter

Lady: "Ok NOW I have electronics"

So I rang up the headphones and sent her to the front checkouts for the rest of it.

Hey, she pissed me off. According to store policy I was not supposed to check out anything but electronics there. I was just usually nice and let people check out there if it wasn't busy in my department, being there were ALWAYS lines up front.

there is a story on there that you may find funny.

This guy keeps asking an employee if they allow homeless people in the store then about after 5 minutes of talking the store's employee notices the mentioned people are his parents. The customer doesn't return for about 6 months
