The problem isn't the 2D or the 3D, Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 were actually good, since Sega lost the console war with the Dreamcast, all 3D sonic games sucked.

I have played the first sonic 3D game or sonic adventures when it came out on the gamecube as DX. I liked playing as sonic through the stages although I did not really like to fish or play as amy running away from that robot. however I liked adventures 2 the best although it was the first 3D sonic game I ever played but apparently there are people who Absolutely hated it and gave it terrible reviews which made me realize that there are idiots out there. heck I am surprised FFXII is given this effect and I thought that game was bloody brilliant.

and as for sonic heroes the game was ok, average, but it isn't the best sonic 3D game. and then Shadow the Hedge hog came out and that was probably the worst sonic game that came out it that I have played because 1. it featured guns which were use hard to aim and use. 2. The camera if you even try to go backwards its like trying to force you to go forward. 3. the annoying Do this do that guys of good and evil got in the way of the screen and sometimes block me view making me fall of the stage. 4. glitches sometimes I encounter the glitch where you can get on the speed up pads and fall through the stage.

and as for sonic the hedgehog for the ps3 and 360 all I have to say is lolsega did you even bother playing the game before you released it (thankfully I did not buy it).

I wonder how much more will Capcom milk people out of Megaman. Megaman is good but i'm sick of the old formula and it being the exact same thing, just look at any of the megaman games or spinoffs(like Battle Network), they all use the old Megaman formula; you do a bunch of crap, you beat a robot, you get it's power.

Don't get me wrong, i like Megaman, but aren't you people sick of this? You guys really want to play Final Fantasy 45, Resident evil 32 and Super Mario 64 rehash number.54? You've been playing the same type of game since Megaman 1 was released for the NES! I think the concept is getting a little bit too much repetitive and old and the gaming industry keeps following Capcom's and Nintendo's(and like the others like Square Enix) example which is to constantly rehash the same games. Original games like The World Ends With You gets smashed into the ground because it "hurted the sales" because no one knew about it, then we get fed up with the same Final Fantasy [censored] again because some of you just buy games for their names!

Theres a difference between Megaman and Final Fantsay though.Final Fantasy can change its battle system, its story, its characters, practically everything. So yes, i do think i would like Final Fantasy 45.

I also think Megaman 9 is insulting every other megaman game in the bunch by removing the slide, charged shot etc... so we could "feel more like playing megaman 1", Capcom is making YET AGAIN another rehash to burst money in their pockets and we're stuck with a regression.
Many people consider Megaman 2 to be the best game in the series, including the creator of Megaman. You couldn't slide or charge shot in Megaman 2.

No. I hate Final Fantasy. Hate. I've only liked two games in the entire series (6 and 9). And you act like there's such a thing as originality nowadays, when, in reality, there isn't. No game that is out or is coming out today is doing something different than games that came out fifteen years ago. They're all copies of old games.

I could never get into turn-based games like Final Fantasy. My theory is, if I'm fighting for my life, I'm not going to be polite and let Mr. 1,000 Fangs over there take his turn. XD

Didn't I already talk to you about that at some point? Like, the real-time fighting system or whatever?

I got Megaman 1 on VC

GOD
DAMN

IT'S CAPCOM HARD

if you think thats hard wait till you play megaman 9. I just downloaded it yesterday and unlike the first couple of megamans (where I can easily get to all of the bosses without trying). I only beaten 2 bosses (galaxy man and splash whomen thanks to a spike jump power up) can get to 2 other bosses but cant beat them (concrete man and magmaman) and cant get to the other 3 (jewel man, hornetman, and tornadoman) megaman 9 sure does not disappoint on the difficulty tho just make sure you can beat the first and 2nd original games.
I got Megaman 9
Not as frustrating as number 1
Also Tornado Man reminds me so much of Air Man.
SO
MUCH

Also Splash Woman is the only woman boss :D

I'm not so much a fan of turn-based games, mainly because I'm not willing to let Mr 1,000 Fangs rip me to pieces just because I'm courteous enough to give him his turn.

and yet I think sonic should die with its 3D games and go back to making the 2D style gameplay.
