I've only played X4, 8, a few Battle Networks and the two Legends games.

None of the originals D:

I wonder how much more will Capcom milk people out of Megaman. Megaman is good but i'm sick of the old formula and it being the exact same thing, just look at any of the megaman games or spinoffs(like Battle Network), they all use the old Megaman formula; you do a bunch of crap, you beat a robot, you get it's power.

Don't get me wrong, i like Megaman, but aren't you people sick of this? You guys really want to play Final Fantasy 45, Resident evil 32 and Super Mario 64 rehash number.54? You've been playing the same type of game since Megaman 1 was released for the NES! I think the concept is getting a little bit too much repetitive and old and the gaming industry keeps following Capcom's and Nintendo's(and like the others like Square Enix) example which is to constantly rehash the same games. Original games like The World Ends With You gets smashed into the ground because it "hurted the sales" because no one knew about it, then we get fed up with the same Final Fantasy [censored] again because some of you just buy games for their names!

I happen to enjoy Mega Man and I take offense to your comparing Mega Man and Final Fantasy. I mean, unlike Final Fantasy, the Mega Man games were actually good. Also, in EVERY game you do a bunch of stuff, you beat someone up, you get something. That's how it is.

I love the old-fashioned box art for it. It's almost as if the artist has no idea what Megaman is! =D

if you think thats hard wait till you play megaman 9. I just downloaded it yesterday and unlike the first couple of megamans (where I can easily get to all of the bosses without trying). I only beaten 2 bosses (galaxy man and splash whomen thanks to a spike jump power up) can get to 2 other bosses but cant beat them (concrete man and magmaman) and cant get to the other 3 (jewel man, hornetman, and tornadoman) megaman 9 sure does not disappoint on the difficulty tho just make sure you can beat the first and 2nd original games.

=/, so you want to play Final Fantasy 45 when it comes out? I'm not saying the games are bad, i'm saying that playing the exact same [censored] for twenty years bores the crap outta me.

I also think Megaman 9 is insulting every other megaman game in the bunch by removing the slide, charged shot etc... so we could "feel more like playing megaman 1", Capcom is making YET AGAIN another rehash to burst money in their pockets and we're stuck with a regression.

thats where DLC content comes in somewhere in the beginning of october you will be able to play as protoman for 200 who does all of the sliding, charging, and blocking moves with the cost of getting knocked back further (which is the main cause of deaths when I play megaman where I jump toward a cliff and usually something hits me making me go backwards in to the pit and die >.<) but at least they brought back the old gameplay style that I like best from megaman that never gets old now all I need to hope for is for sega to do the same with there sonic franchise.

I hope Sega stop butchering Sonic along with 4kids voice actors(that's what they are used to do for anime) for the almighty dollar. But that's not gonna happen isn't it?

hmm well unless they finally realize a Huge sale gap from the portable systems that feature 2D style game play with 3D background from the terrible console versions and spin offs. They will keep on making sonic games that are not sticking to the true sonic formula. till then I am not buying any sonic game with any type of gimmick because I am not going to make that mistake with shadow the hedgehog (what are they going to come up next sonic with a sword they might as well make an sonic RPG game while they are at it.) or some other type of gimmick where sonic turns into a werewolf and you fight through the area like if you were playing knuckles.

The problem isn't the 2D or the 3D, Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 were actually good, since Sega lost the console war with the Dreamcast, all 3D sonic games sucked.
