She screamed and turned around after feeling the heat and hearing the man scream in pain " oh, thanks Kat" she said as she shot the now one armed man and reloaded. " I'm running out of bullets..dammit" she cried

Erik gritted his teeth to resist yelling in pain. "Sonova- Isn't there someone here who can do healing magics?"

He then saw a thug coming up behind Sophia with a sword. He brought his free hnd around and took him down with two shots to the lungs and abdomen. This action exacerbated the wound, however, causing him to grunt in pain and let out a few choice swearwords in Daemon.

Getting thrown off the red head Jaxin sat himself up and looked around at all the people fighting, and dying, "Yah, screw this!" Making sure Kiki was tucked safely within his hooide he stood and seeing a sword coming down on him vanished in a puff of black smoke that sent the man off balance and to the ground.

A few seconds later he reappeared in another puff of black smoke near the tree outside the the farmhouse. Breathing a annoyed sigh of relief he stood there watching the battle that was going on. He couldn't care less about who they were, say for that weird little fox thing, it spoke to him didn't it? Well there was just more proof that where he was wasn't earth.

Kiki popped her head out of the front of his hoodie again and looking up at him gave a small mew, "We don't know them, so its not our problem." Kiki mewed again but with a slight change in her tone, "Better safe then sorry, besides what could we get from them." Kiki looking back at the action mewed. "We'll just watch and see how it turns out."

The raft floated down the river slowly. It was peaceful, if seriously disturbing. Black oily water and all. And so the river remained. And then there was that fin that glided through the water behind the raft. It wasn't a single small triangle, like a shark, but was massive, almost as large as the raft itself. And completely covered in the black oily goop. And then it started to pick up speed. Definitely not a good thing.

Nurse Fischer looked at the boy who had just appeared in front of her.
"You know, you should go back in there. The fight'll be ending soon. Besides, it's alot safer."

Jaxin looked over his shoulder at the woman with confusion. Then back at the fight, "I don't know what you're seeing but from where I am, I don't need to worry about being safe, not when I can just vanish to somewhere else."

It was true he was actually starting to understand how it worked, with each time he would teleport he would become just a bit more familiar with it, and the fact that it would go off when he was in danger just make it that much easier.

"Besides its not like I'm in any danger just standing here. I'll think about talking to them once its over." He kept an eye on the woman just in case she made any sudden moments.

"j.j.j.j....Jax?! ...where...where di they go..." Chris said nervously as he saw the tail rise from the water "...aw...crap..."

The speed of the raft started to pick up and Chris was sittng there, clinging tightly around the boat " Oh god, this thing is gonna EAT me..." he said nearly crying as he looked over the side to see the black,oily thing " ..why does this stuff have ta happen to me..."

Strear had just finished whacking another crazed attacker with his guns when he heard footsteps behind him, someone running towards him by the frequency of the steps. Turning around, he had just enough time to see a man with an axe stop a few feet from him and swing the axe downwards. There's no time to dodge this, I'm about to die he thought as the axe got closer and closer to him. Strear had prepared himself for the blow and imminent death which would follow it, when an odd thing happened. The axe was moving toward him at what seemed like an impossibly slow pace. Strear now had time to jump out of the way, and before his attacker had time to register the dodge he was stopped by a bullet entering his brain, compliments of one of Strear's revolvers. That... was... cool passed throught his mind as Strear went after yet another attacker, filled with confidence after the discovery of his new ability.

The black oily mass started to rise up a bit more and swimming at a more rapid pace. Chris just sat in the back of the boat, in a near fetal position and playing with the dog collar under his hoodie " God...is this what happens to everybody on their 152nd time of not getting a job or am I the only one who has to to this.."

Brittny clicked her trigger but nothing happened " [CENSORED] I'm out of bullets!! " she said as a man with a club came swinging at her and she quickly kicked him in the genitals. The poor man fell down and rithed on the ground "...well at least I can still do that.."

The woman snapped her fingers, and a black spear appeared in her right hand. She stepped away from Jaxin and pointed it at him.
"Right...Well, I'm supposed to kill you for the master, so...die, I guess."

Sofia killed a few more members of the mob. There were only about five or so left in the house, and a whole lot of corpses.

Johnathan Expendable was having a boring day. I mean, really, who was going to try to swim into a farm? And that goopy stuff...well, he'd have to talk to his superiors about it once his shift was over. Then he saw the raft, and more importantly, what was behind it.
Great...
James reached behind him and grabbed a harpoon.
"KID! DUCK!"

Liz checked to make sure Kat was safe before turnng to look at the remaining civilians. She turned in time to see a guy running at her and the only thing she could do was raise one hand in fear, closing her eyes and waiting for the inevitable stab wound. The wound never came because a pillar of holy energy shot from her hand and killed the guy.
She opened her eyes and looked around "Thanks whoever saved me."

((Yeah, she don't know she did it yet))

Erik saw Liz blast the man across the room. His face showed a mixture of shock and fear. He raised a trembling hand to point at Elizabeth. "H-how-how did you do that?"

Jaxin looked at the woman in annoyance, what was with this place and trying to kill him? Since he got to wherever here was she was the third thing/person thats tried to kill him.

Taking a few steps backward Jaxin asked nonchalantly, "So working for this master of yours, whats the pay like? I can already tell that you get some pretty neat weapons. Mind if I ask how I get in on that?"

Jaxin was already set to port up to the high branches of the tree if the woman should chose to not answer him and attack. As he backed up Kiki poked her head out of his hoodie, took one look at the woman and began to hiss and spit. Jaxin attempted to calm her by patting her on the head.

"Well, since you asked nicely..." the woman let the end of the spear rest on the ground.

"We'd go with the standard stuff...Wealth, power, women, land..pretty much anything, really. So, can I count on you?"

Giving the woman a little smirk, Jaxin nodded, "I don't see why not, just a long as Kiki here stays with me I don't think there would be any problems."

In the back of his mind he knew that this was probably a bad idea but how else was he going to get any answers, maybe this 'master' could tell him of a way he could get back to earth. Screw the rest of the other people, he had enough to worry about with just him and Kiki.

Kiki stopped hissing at the woman looked up at Jaxin seeming surprised, and let out a few loud meows, "What do we have to lose?" she mewed a few times more. "You worry too much."

Shaking his head a bit he again asked the woman a question, "By the way, why were you ordered to kill me? I mean I'm not exactly here by choice."

"hmm? ....AGH!" hris said as a harpoon was being thrown at the side of the raft " con sarn it all...now there's people tryin to kill me too...typical"

Brittny wiped the sweat off of her face as she looks at the corpses on the ground " Hell, they all did put up a fight...ow" she winced [censored] she felt the small gashes on her arms start to trickle with her blood.
