It was funny as hell! I mean, despite my very playful nature, there are few things that make me actually fall out of my seat from laughing so hard. The fact that I was in a crowded place certainly helped. But, yeah, hilarious, for some reason.

distinctly less suprise than implied by the thread title, but finally asking my mom a question that's bugged me for the past few years, and finding out that yes, my father was gay. Mostly it was the "yeah.", followed by the expected awkward response.

The "was" is because he died of brain cancer. While infected with HIV. After having two minor strokes that made him legally blind.

I think the universe just didn't like him.
