I'm starting to lose interest in shooters, I think. Games like Assassin's Creed, where realism is the dominant factor, are just tripping my trigger a whole lot more.

I'd have to agree there.
Though Singstar is pretty cool as well.
Walking on Sunshine FTW

I kinda like shooters, but only the really good ones, like Half-life 2. I am a huge fan of RPG's, up till now only hack-n-slash but I'm developing an interest in certain turn-based ones such as FF6, and I am a gigantic fan of Bioware games, because you can influence your character and the story, which is (at least I think is) the coolest thing you can do with video games. No more following their linear story, you can choose your own path!

Anyway, yeah, that's what I like to play.

i enjoy rpg's however the turn based style just annoys me, i mean, i know everyone who has a problem with rpg's states this, so it must be old, and for those who enjoy turn based games, i salute you, but i just like games were i dont have to wait for the enemy to attack me before i can attack him again.

I prefer shooters, most other game genres dont aim for that much realism. MMORPGs these days are repetitive, they all looks the same and have maby one feature that they can call their own. RTS games are nice but still, they arent that realistic for example, take dawn of war for example, the Imperial Guard, individually the weakest of the races, their forces can survive 5 tanks shells aimed at them. That is not so bad considering how I modded that out. :P

Franchises (okay, not necessarily franchises in the strictest sense). Mario, Sonic, Crash, Spyro, Phantasy Star, The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Jak, Guitar Hero, Phoenix Wright, Pokemon, Klonoa, Kingdom Hearts, Katamari Damacy, Devil May Cry, Rock Band...the list goes on. Not for very long, but the point is that I'm leaving things out by accident.

RPG's pretty much only; so that's limiting to Tales Of Symphonia and Pokémon. Eagerly awaiting the European release of ToS2 :D .

I like games that actually involve me doing something. I'm quite capable of grinding hours away at a computer (Dawn of War) or console (Pokemon), but I'd rather be at the table (Magic the Gathering, D&D, Werewolf) or better yet, outside (Werewolf LARP, Amtgard).
