There's just something intrinsically appealing about blowing up giant mech while piloting one of your own. Armored Core: For Answer, the latest in the Armored Core series, is released on September 16th. It will feature most, if not all of the features of Armored Core 4, with improvements in UI, multiplayer, and over 130 new parts and new decals to customize your mech with. You will even be able to play the single player campaign with a friend online.

A little wishful thinking on my part: I hope we're given the ability to upload an image from our HD to use as an emblem or decal, but at the same time, I hope they don't let us, because I'm sure it'll get old after the hundredth dick-al (I'm so clever).

Also, they should make an Armored Core movie. It would be absolutely badass.

So, anybody else going to check this out?

"Shouldn't this be on the game board?" asked the confused observer.

As much as I think the games are awesome, they seriously need to make an Armored Core movie. The dialog could be better, but they can just record it in some obscure language, dub it, and nobody would care. Of course, just the fact that it's giant mechs blowing each other to tiny bits would make it appeal to roughly half of the world's population anyways.

Release Trailer.

Naturally, I haven't managed to get my hands on it yet. *grumble grumble*

...Woah.

Looks nice. Might buy if available on PC someday. Although I don't completely agree on the movie part - when it's about big machines, those Hollywood writers don't have the slightest clue.
They almost messed up the damn Trasformers!

Oh no! Keep Hollywood's grubby little hands off of it! Get the cinematics team for the game a script (a good one), some money, and some good voice actors.

And yeah, Transformers almost wasn't awesome. The original movie was and is better than the new one. Back in the day, people knew how to make good movies.

I would so buy that game if i had any of the systems it is on..... I am just a little outdated on the console gaming scene..... still the armored core series was good because of the level of customization of the suits. you could tailor a unit to how YOU fight. ( i have a slew of save files from the previous AC games.)
