The newbie board is the spam part of the forum. There are constant RP fights and various other kinds of random [censored].

The rest of the forum is must nicer and less spamy. You might survive if you just leave the newbie board now.

the ranting board, comic board, media board, and gaming board are the ones i frequent. The newbie board has been better recently but i think that's coming to the end.

A good place to start is the Ranting Board. That's general discussion. The drawing board has fairly random conversations from time to time, based on what kind of arts is current in the thread.

Those three at the bottom are fairly serious most of the time.

But, before you go anywhere else, I recommend ditching the chat talk. FastChapter will yell at you for using ne instead of any, as will a few others.
