Room Mates From Hell

Yeah, you guessed it; this topic is about bad room mates. Tell about any experiences you've had with bad room mates.

I am currently bunked up with a particularly annoying room mate. Last night he came back from a small party at almost 2a.m. He was not drunk, but he decided to be a little turd anyway. He didn't feel like sleeping, so he thought he'd keep me awake and I have a 8:00 class. Every time I would start to drowse off he would burst into LOUD song! My knuckles hurt from when I smashed my fist into the wall. I'm gonna have a discussion about this with my RA and Director. I would gladly move out if there was any place to move to, but there is not! This is a run down little collage town with limited options for housing. Whenever a white person says something negative about any black person, he automatically labels them RACIST. Yeah, I say something negative but TRUE about Obama and he labels me racist. Why is it that most people don't seem to understand that you don't have to be white to be racist? He is black and I think he is racist.

Roommate Confessions. Some of them are quite funny.

I actually don't have bad roommates. They're all guys I knew from high school, and we get along pretty well.

heh, My roommate was some random person I got paired up with, he is cool though.

He plays wow, and doesnt wake up when I return to the room at 4am lol

I'd be interested in knowing what you said about Obama, as I remember the email you posted last time about him.

As for roommates, yes, they can really, really suck. Everyone hated the one I had last year, including me, as he was a self-centered, gossiping, egotistical jerkface. He'd complain about everything I did to anyone within earshot. Oi... if you can get a new roomie, I would the situation's not likely to improve.

My current roomate has Privacy issues I think. He bugs me at the most odd times. Like, he will try to talk with me while I'm in the bathroom through the door, or while in the shower. A couple days ago, I was changing out of my work clothes in my own room, he knocks on the door a couple times, I tell him "I'll be out in a second, chaning clothes here!" So what does he do? Starts to open the door, forcing me to cover up and he then DOESN'T close the door, but starts to talk to me about whatever! I had to yell at him to close the door or he wouldn't have left me alone...

Oh, I've had roommates I could cheerfully strangle: especially the one that insisted on trying to smother me with the most god awefull airfresheners she could find

Or the friend (whom I no longer see) that insisted on running every electrical device in the house through his room. This wasn't his most annoying habit, but it was the most worrisome. I wasn't surprised a bit to find out the next house he moved into burned down a few months later.
