I been thinking about this for some time, and i been wondering what would happen? will people run? will people avoid me and maybe call the cops? or what? how bout we think of ideas on what might happen.

i think what might happen is if i start shooting it randomly in the air (if its a working one) and doing the pyro taunts, people will run, or maybe call the cops, liek seriously, a [censored] pyro cosplay in a bloody furcon, it reminds of a comic i read, wich i will post up shortly.
EDIT: Got it up. :D
EDIT: i got the pyro at anthrocon 2008 vid
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlwU-z2hHlQ he makes his appearance at 1:50

I'd need a picture of Pyro. I've never played the game. =\

Prepare to get flak. A lot of it.

Unless you put furry ears on it or something, a lot of people there are likely to think you a 'hater' and treat you as such. Why? Familiar with the phrase "Kill it, with fire"? Yeah, a good bit of the community gets a wee bit upset when they see that, and someone there in an outfit practically screaming such is bound to end in tears (most likely yours).

Again, put ears on it though or a tail and you'll likely be fine.

I think that's stretching it a bit too far. I personally would simply be laughing for the hilarity of the concept.

That is a funny picture, but one can ne'er plan too far ahead when attempting to make a costume. While one would assume that's excessive [And I agree, I did go a bit far], it's still best to take precautions so as to avoid flak.
