Now apply the work you did on hands today to your image from the other day. ;)

You ended up with a very strange orthogonal view of the character's head yesterday as well. Tilt the whole head around by the yaw on the muzzle, and give us some back of the head on that side. It's like it just cuts out after the jawline.

From there, we can move into other topics, like, is that a pickle the character's holding, and why is it such a surprise? :P

I'd say overall you've got promise, but first off I'd say try nailing proportions. And though it's not a real fun way to do it, try using stick figures. It serves a double purpose. Good for proportions and posing. :D Grasping anatomy is a huge aspect as well, but even then, you'd still need sizing. :)

Nah, I'm not very clear. It's a lot of weird 3D language, so I'm not surprised that it doesn't make sense. Effectively, the perspective looks sort of flat -- things don't diminish in size toward a single point of perspective. "Orthogonal" is a 3D view mode where you see the whole of the side of the object pointed toward you, it doesn't diminish in size with distance like normal. "Yaw" is one of the angles of measure. It's the horizontal angle -- how far to one side or the other is a head turned, in this case.

Really, what I'm complaining about is that you angled the muzzle so that the character's head looks like it should be turned slightly to their left (our right), however, the rest of the head is not. In fact, that we can see more of the hair and the back of the head on the left side of the head makes it feel like the character's head should be turned to their right (our left). (Well, that's not entirely true. You apply a reasonably correct perspective to the eyes.) This is compounded because the line of fur going down the cheek to form the jawline on their right size (our left) forms the end of the head. There's no hair, there's no back of the head, it just stops there. We still should be able to see some of the back of the character's head.

Is that any better? I can try to be more clear maybe, if you still can't make out what I'm awkwardly attempting to say.

What kind of stick figures? I don't see stick figures having hips or shoulders.

lol. You're thinking too basic XD I'm saying draw out a basic skeletal figure just using lines. In this instance you end a line wherever there's a major joint. So for the shoulders and hips you would draw a line across the top and the bottom of the line that'd make up your torso. From there you'd attach arms and legs as if you were drawing any other stick figure. You can make a fairly complex stick figure if you were account for all the joints. :3

But how do i keep proportions if everything keeps being disproportional?

Study people, look up images. After awhile you'll start to realize lengths. For instance, when a person stands straight with their arms at their sides, where do their hands fall? That would give you a rough estimate on where their hips should be and how long their thighs are. In either case it involves you studying the human figure. Unless you're doing animals, in which case you would study corresponding animal anatomy. :D

I guess that would work, i've been trying to work on anatomy since i started(since beginning of april), proportions are still off but less now :D

Well then that in itself shows you're improving. Just keep gathering photo references and doing practice sketches and you should have a hold of it in no time. :)

tried to shake up some confidence in myself =/

Pretty low lately

Do proportions on the models look good? I did a approximation of the heads high.

first set, not bad, edit picture isn't too bad, but the nose and left hand are off (nostrils go way further out than they should, and the hand is missing fingernails) and extent the feet a little farther out. (You're better at it than me though. I can't draw humans to save my life. animals are the best I can draw. >.<)
