The artist definitely has a knack for drawing machines.

Gilgamesh?

I don't have time to read the entire thing right now, got work in an hour and need to make myself some dinner before that. It is actually really interesting, the way the world is set. Future-medieval, really neat.

Praytell, should I be warned of any nastiness in this comic?

Gilgamesh is the Son to Baron Wulfenbach, ruler of most of eruope.

No nastyness. It's a good, solid, non offensive comic. Fun for everyone!

Also known as gas-lamp fantasy, or, much more commonly, steampunk*, since it revolves mostly around steam and clockwork-era technology.

* "Steampunk is a subgenre of fantasy and speculative fiction that came into prominence in the 1980s and early 1990s. The term denotes works set in an era or world where steam power is still widely used—usually the 19th century, and often set in Victorian era England—but with prominent elements of either science fiction or fantasy, such as fictional technological inventions like those found in the works of H. G. Wells and Jules Verne, or real technological developments like the computer occurring at an earlier date. Other examples of steampunk contain alternate history-style presentations of "the path not taken" of such technology as dirigibles or analog computers; these frequently are presented in an idealized light, or a presumption of functionality."

On topic; I'm fairly sure Tom is running the show here; the twitter updates within minutes of comic updates. This is either someone with uncanny timing and a system set to monitor the comic for updates, or it's our author potentially dropping hints or expressing Keith's thoughts that may not be able to fit in the comic.

As a sidenote, Twitter updates are limited to 140 characters. Not your conventional blog by any means. It's like a cross between a journal and a pad of post-it notes.

Or maybe just someone nudging poor Keith who couldn't sleep.

Besides, if it were Tom would he choose a background like that?

It's possible to enter and have Twitter store posts more than 140 characters, however they won't show up on the timeline.

To answer your question, yes, Tom would do something like that.
