And that, good Butterball, is why I let people make characters, It ensures peoples interest =P Also, it's a nice way to get unique characters that give me other perspectives.

Once more into the deep!

-----------------------------
I let out a cold laugh in the dark.

"No..... you're dead. Forty years. You've been dead for forty years, and you do not stand in front of me today." He closed his eyes and shook his head, trying to will it me away, I'd guess. His eyes reopened now, back to cold and determined as they were before, "Of course. I should have seen it before. You're nothing more than some two bit mage with an alteration spell." He began to walk away.

I had the knife out of my foot at this point, and I twirled it in my hand. I begin to get a bit serious, my voice cold. I knew he could simply not accept me as who I was, and who could blame him, I'm surprised he still remembers my face. "Her name's Jenny."

He stopped in his tracks, eyes wide again.

My face showed nothing. I strolled towards him. "The little girl you left behind in that village. Your home town in the montians. Your daughter."

"No.... Well I guess this will all go faster if I stop saying that won't I? You're the only one who knows that besides my family, don't you? And you're the only one of knows to connect the old Frank Potts to John Dekel. Where the hell were you? My Lord." A smile played on his lips. You could almost see the relief and exceptions for the future.

"Ha! John Dekel returns, I knew time wouldn't take you too long to work it out. And would you believe a wooden crate in my tower?" We strolled out of the town into the shadows of night.

"They took the tower, and by the time it had cleared out, it was years later. No one wanted to come back, to afraid of it." His smile had been growing all the time that they had walked, obviously his mind had seen the possibilities. "Your mage cult still is together, but I think they feel under the control of that Keadon, the armies fell into bandits, and the various good nations fell upon your lands, they've broken into bandits in the various villages. Damn good ones, which I can take a little solace in."

"Any idea where they are? I'm glad my mages have learned something, I can't seem to find with a few basic divination. I think we'll have to visit her."

We turned to the west. "I've never liked her. Never a fair trade."

"To a man of tactics yes. You view everything as a battle, a war of thoughts and words. This makes you the excellent tacticion in war and politics. She talks in metaphor."

"I'll take your word on it, My Lord." He nodded.

"Oh believe me", I laughed, "She creeps me out too."

We laughed on the cold, silent road.

------------------------

Alright, that's it again. I'm starting to really like writing this, which makes me happy.

The code will be on in later today, for now, I have something else.

As I'm sure many of you have noticed, I have yet to describe the appearence of my character, which blarg I need to find the name of x_x, lacks a character design yet. Part of this is I haven't figured out what I want him to look like, and since part of my story is based around interaction with the reader, I wanted to give you all a chance to offer your opinion. I may use some one's or make my own.

If you want to be involved, post an in depth description of his appearance from your perspective. If I end up really liking a couple, I'll have a poll to tell which of the descriptions you guys like most.

I'll probably be updating more often, now that I'm really enjoying this =3

Maybe he looks like a fairly normal person? I've always admired the most recent master for that.

As usual, great update Keldoth. And as allways, I can't wait for the next one! I admire your writing skills, and for having the dedication to do this so often.
About the looks of the main villain, I have some ideas. Well, for one you've allready established that his skin is pale, wich sounds good to me. Another thing is that he could be rather tall, but only slightly muscular built. He could have barely have any hair on his head, and it should be gray, maybe with a few stripes of blond.

That's waht I got as suggestions so far. I might come up with something better later.

Because I won't be a jack hole this time, and while you all wait on the 21st for the update, go "Sorreh none for you!", I will now instead warn ya'll the next update may be pushed back, depending on the rate of which I finish the summer reading. At the most, I'll just skip that update. Thanks my one or two loyal readers! (b'-')b

I advise binging.

That's the only way to survive without the sweet weakly injection of awesome of my story.

Perhaps I spelled it wrong XP

In short, it means drinking a hell of a lot for extended periods of time.

Ah. Well, I'll just have to go and refill my stock then. I'm dangerously close to running dry. Luckily I might just have a possible source nearby. Thanks for the tip Keldoth.

Nah, I think we were reading it wrong. At least I was. I was reading "bing-ing" when I believe it's "binge-ing."

It's always especially effective for me, if the main villain has a pleasant face. Richard Gere scared the bejeebus outta me in that one movie he played a main villain, and whomever that actor was that played Flagg in "The Stand" managed that really well. It's super effective, when done right.

The foot hopping/ knife retrieval midst bland conversation made me think of that.

Please, for the love of all that is, don't make him the usual hawk featured Vlad ripoff.
