As We've all seen, trace has a bad habit of turning evil when he draws too much power, my question for all you fans is..What do you think should flora do next time Trace goes evil to snap him outta it. Me I think she should just start at him and say.. Trace, I'm pregnant. That would snap him outta it pretty quick

First of all, I disagree with you when you say that it is a "bad habit". It is who he really is, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it returning every now and then.

Second of all, you're being naive. If Trace goes into such a power hungry state again, Flora simply telling him she's pregnant isn't going to work. If anything, it would make him kill her. I'm pretty sure that old Trace wouldn't want a half Keidran half Human born into the world. He would think of it as an abomination.

It's not cool, his evil self, and he needs to knock it off, it's making me uncomfortable. Flora's majikal vagina can only save the day so many times. Please die, Evil Trace. For Flora, please die.

It isn't who he 'really is', it's who he used to be. There is a difference. If I used to be a serial rapist, does that mean that it's ok for me to go out and rape people once in a while, because it's who I really am? Obviously not. The same holds true with Evil Trace. He has moved on, and needs to get rid of the dark emotions that created Evil Trace to begin with, and move on.

Of course, there's a problem with the suggested resolution to the situation, no matter how you consider it fitting into Trace's psychology. To wit: Flora doesn't know she's pregnant. And since, so far as anyone knows, children between Humans and Keidran are impossible, even if Flora thought she was pregnant, no one would believe that the baby was Trace's. I'm not sure how it's going to come out in the comic, but barring magic, the birth is the only thing that's going to convince anyone it's the case. Until then, they're all going to figure that someone (probably Scythe...or Natani :P) drugged Flora and knocked her up, because, unlikely as that is, it's not "impossible."

Well the problem with your question is it doesn't really work that way.... Every time Trace has gone into "Evil death mode" people don't just poke him with a stick or make rude comments about his mother to bring him back. The first time he was brought back was a memory wipe, the second... saving Flora's soul, and the third was Natani using magic to break his trance.

So whatever brings him back is going to have to be pretty big... and I'm guessing if anyone's involved it'll be Nora (woooo! everyone forgets about her)

Really, I think it takes quiet a bit to knock Trace in and out of evil Trace. Albiet, this current situation just might do it, however, I'm guessing that if Trace uses enough power, it also knocks him out. I'm betting we'll be down one tower and Trace will go back to normal.

Ok, since so many people disagreed with me, I will reformulate my statement. Old Trace is whom I wish Trace really is. Better?

Based on his reaction to my story, I think he likes murderous characters =P
