I'd reinstall DII if I hadn't already loaned it out to friends to get them addicted in time for DIII

I can't believe I missed this thread when I made my own stupid one.

According to PA - http://penny-arcade.com/comic/2008/8/6/ - there's been people trying to get D3 more emo. See this article - http://multiplayerblog.mtv.com/2008/08/ ... ns-tables/

If you read the interview, one of the game designer pretty much gives away what content there will be in other acts (mummy tombs are involved((who didn't see that coming))).

Eh, maybe the colour choices on the textures could be a little bit darker, but not have those heavy contrast and noise that just screws up your view like they did it in those edited screenshots.

Though.

Or is that Diablo III? I honestly can't tell.

That's too dark to be Diablo III.

Well, the guy's just poking fun at how people say Diablo III is "cartoony unlike Diablo II."

The way I see it is that Diablo II had so bright colors at times (poisoned enemies, flashy spells), that it was more colorful than a children's cartoon - which DIII shouldn't be anymore. I think it's for the better now.

Damn, Batman used to be fat...

I don't think its really fair to compare those two games. ._.
There is a genre wall separating them.
But if you want something like diablo but not, and maybe even better, try Nox. I just reinstalled it :3.
