Yes Basitins are Cat like but Tom has said time and time again he is not based off of any particular animal.

I dont know if you would consider those ears to be "Medium" in size really...

i guess some of us are too used to classifying/identifying creatures, even if the characters aren't supposed to be classified.

in my eyes i still think they are rodents, but the mods and admins have spoken.

Yeah, I was just saying that for the sake of proving everyone else wrong. IF they were based on something, it'd be cats.

Basitin look NOTHING like meercats. >_> They have long thin tails, and their ears aren't rounded at all. If you think they are a rodent, then long-eared jerboa would probably be closest, but I still think cat is as close as you'll get.
