Oh, hey, look. It's another game like Trickster, RO, Maple Story, FlyFF, Rappelz, Mu Online, Shaiya, Dark Eden, and Luminary. Damn Korean MMOs. They're all the same.

Lol, games not even translated yet and you're saying its like those games? I've played Flyff (sadly) and this game isn't even close. This game is probably close to WoW. NCsoft is the company working with it. The people that worked with CoH/CoV and Tabula Rasa (that game could have been better though lol)

Imo what you jsut said is something people can say about MMO's made in America. WoW is just like EQ, every single fantasy MMO that has come out here is a rip of EQ.

(So for all of those that like to say "they're copying WoW" well..WoW copied EQ)

(Also, can't really say a game is like the others if you havn't even played it.) More then anything the game is closer to Lineage 2 and WoW (Ironically it having things like WoW/EQ/Lineage 2 is prob whats going to make it good lol)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Blizzard attempts to keep WoW suitable even for the low-end PCs (slowly going up in requirements, little by little) for the sake of having more potential players. That's why you might get the "oldish" feeling while playing it (I did, during the trial version).

This game certainly looks nice, but only time will tell...

I was talking to a friend about it, she says its just liniage 2 and GW graphics on steriods. So older comps could probably play it, but i'm not sure. All I can say is...if they actually got those graphics for older comps...then..bravo.

I'll just stick with my non-massive-multiplayer RPGs. The main reason I play RPGs is for an involving, character-driven story, unique and memorable missions, and a variety of odd characters with their own personalities. Fallout, Baldur's Gate, Mass Effect, and Planescape are all excellent examples of this, and that's why I'm such big fans of them.

You just don't get that kind of cinematic experiencewith an MMO, thus I avoid them.

The game's made by NCsoft, so I'm expecting Guild Wars style combat; small-scale and high-difficulty PVE and headache-giving PVP combats. Which is not that common in most Korean MMOs, mainly featuring endless PVE grinds and mediocre damage-exchanging PVP.

Exactly Narane, if NCsoft wasn't with this I probably wouldn't bother cause I hate the whole "you just got .001% exp...kill a couple thousand-1 million more and you'll lvl =)" From what i've seen combat is like WoW, its like teh average MMO's we're use too, crafting goes as far as making your armor look different (their example is like being able to make it look tougher then it is).

Also your class isn't limited, they're making it so you arn't limited by what your class is and ect. It looks very good imo.
