Anywho, that's so cool you got to meet Tom. I envy you! Then again, I probably would do something stupid... lol. Or not be able to think of anything to say.

I am in awe at someone who actually met Tom in person. I have ate at Red Lobsters before. I usually get a big plate of shrimp and french fries.

How's the weather up there, guy? Congrats on meeting an internet friend. I always find it to be a pleasing experience.

That might be quite interesting, considering the guy who'll show up halfway through the meal and beat the crap out of whoever is with you...

All this talk about seafood is starting to make me feel home sick. I used to live in California and they have some very good sea food restaurants like Joes crab shack, Red lobester, Island burger, the original Fish city grill, and some Japanese restaurant that has good sushi.

Eeesh, you must tease a lot of people, tallest people I've met this way haven't been over 6'3 or 6'4. Oh also want to take the opportunity to welcome ya home since you say you're returning, as well as thanks. Though on a more on topic note it's really cool to hear about ya meeting em, any time I mention meeting friends from online to other friends I tend to hear hear along the line of "That's a bad idea, you'll only end up disappointed.", always nice to hear when everything goes well. Hope y'all had a good time (though it sounds like ya did).

I don't think I could get into the military if I *wanted* to. XD I'm a selfish [censored] at times, and you'd have to be /very/ friendly with me in the past to ever get me to take a bullet for you.

I just don't like what the military life stands for. I'm NOT the same as the guy standing next to me, no matter what you would like to believe.

But, let's not get into that. I don't want to make any enemies. =^.^=

I've only met up with cross-country (and out-of-country) friends a few times- and I'll cherish those meetings forever.


I didn't see a thread that was specifically made to give condolences to Tom regarding his father- could you please pass on from me that I'm really sorry for his loss. We had a death in my family last month, so I know a little of what he is going through.
