I could have seen them play the new album, live, FOR FREE, on saturday, if I had a freakin' car, or if my folks would've taken me. Gods, I hate my life. Is it as amazing as their stuff usually is?

I've seen Dragonforce live... and really I'm not impressed. They shred sure, but sometimes it just sounded out of key. That, and I'm almost positive they digitally speed up the tracks during recordings. The only one with any skill has to be Herman Li.

I'm a fan of Dragonforce, but I've noticed that most of their stuff sounds the same. The first 30 seconds sounds like it was just ripped from other songs. Even the melody is reminiscent of previous tracks. There's still a good chance that I'm going to buy it, seeing as I'll have just gotten back from Mayhem Fest.

A lot of their music really does sound the same. The new song they have on their Myspaces is no exception. But, it's still enjoyable.
