Oh? Do tell. I'm afraid I'm not familiar enough with those types of poses to make a drawing worthy of the slashfic writer's inclusion yet :P

Then again, reading DfO:ES did give me some ideas...

Well, that all depends. Were you thinking of doing a picture of just Av or will he have company?

Oh, he'll probably have company. I could even take care of two cameos at once and include you.

Now...what sort of pose could I put you two in? :P

h yes, the Coliegic wrestling starting position, how I loathe it.

In any case, I suggest a brisk, but frim, handshake for the pose :P

While wrestling? That might be kind of hard to do.

Sapph always lets me win at wrestling. It's no fun to practice the Saturday Night Ride if they let you do it. :(
Okay, for the record, yes, that's a real wrestling move; it might be illegal now, but one of my best friends in high school liked it because it was painful as all get out. I did wrestle in high school, it's why I have a slightly disproportionately large neck.
Quit "helping," Sapph. You're going to give FastChapter some kind of aneurysm.

You're gonna draw us? And a Keith/Natani wedding? Glee!

Well, it's less of a wedding and more of a reception. But that's probably a long, long way off. I haven't even gotten a picture of either of them drawn for concept yet. And you'd probably be less excited about a picture of you and Kuro if I do Avvy's "How Lycanthropy Sucks Chapter 137: Why Kuro Socked Me in the Eye" story. ;)

Hogwash! That's how the match begins. And ends.

And Av', the Saturday night (we never had the 'ride' part at the end) is still a legal and quite powerful technique, though I myself am more partial to the classic head 'n' arm.

Everyone wrestles! Hooray!

I was a fan of the Gramby Tilt myself. Well, that and going from a clinch to a duck under and around the back.

No. Not really at all. I got very close to qualifying for State my senior year, but my district (heck, my conference) was stacked with some of the best guys in my weight class (and they kept ending up in the same weight class as I was every year). I didn't win my first match until my sophomore year; though I ended up winning that tournament. By my senior year I was decent, though certainly nothing special.

Half-nelson? The bread-and-butter move? It's solid, that's for sure. Me, I loved the cradles, particularly the cross-face cradle. By the end, the coach had actually taught me a way to do a cradle from the up position (yeah, that's right, the cradle was the takedown), not that I ever got to use it. I got some crazy grip strength from it; there were times I held people in place for a minute because the ref wouldn't give me the pin. I tended to shoot from too far away and then hold on...Gave me a lot of experience in fighting to top from the bottom.

Sure; you're a big guy. You do a lot of clinches to bearhugs and inside trips. It's something big guys always do for some reason. ;) So I take it you preferred tech pins over just pinning the guy, if you preferred the Gramby?

Now you guys know one of the two reasons I'm very comfortable wearing spandex. ;)

-- Sable --
Or do you mean the headlock? Front headlock's kind of a risky move unless you know you can control the guy.

Spandex is awesome

I was in a really small school district, And my father when he was a wrestler considered the best in his large school. Even though our wrestling program appeared in my junior year (I was a founding member, Hooray!) I knew enough from my Dad I could just play with most of my opponents. It was pretty bad. So yeah, tech pins were pretty cool.

Also, I was really sneaky with my techniques.

I only ever got to masters though. Two years is not long enough a time to wrestle.

No, no. I can't believe you don't know the head and arm. It should be the first pin anyone is ever taught; I guarentee that at least 80-90% of my pins were with the head and arm (first clear picture I found) You Americans, with your weird rules and not knowing the best move ever. ∑:∂≤
Do you at least know the Quarter-half to a Michigan? It's like a free pin if you can pull it off.

And spandex is awesome. In the winter, I wore UnderArmour shorts under my pants because they were warm and comfortable (and I could wierd people out by undoing my pants and threatening to drop 'em.

Nonsense Sable! The best move ever is the T-Bone. It instills fear in the enemy.
