Since your pictures seem to be so big, do you ever use them as your own wallpaper?

Not Flora. And I never use my own images as wallpapers, because I'm certain you viewers see this image much differently then I do. By the time I'm done with it, I'm so sick at the sight of the picture that I almost hate it. Just a disadvantage to working on a picture for so long.

I agree with that XD I always put too much time on the coloring :( Is that the case with you too or is it with the lineart?

Line art is fun, its the very start of the picture, it doesn't have to be too perfect, coloring is the tedious part. I'm going to take a break on all these expansive backgrounds for a while, probably focus on gift art, abstract kinds of things.

But how can you love your hobby if you don't love the end product?

He didn't say he does not like the end product, it's just that after you spend so many time on one picture, you just end up tired of working on it. It's like if you work really hard on something, but you finish it just because you want it over it because it takes too much of your time. (Well I see it like that). I don't think that Fuzzle would be such a good artist if he was like that : "Ah, I have too much time to spare.... Think I'll waste my time with another drawing, so troublesome...."

o.O

The nice thing about art is, you always know theres another chance, and that second chance could be anything. I like hearing comments, I like hearing from people, its basically the reward. But since there aren't tons of penises all over that drawing, its hardly noticed.

Heh, I can sympathize with you there. Erotic art, even when poorly drawn, seems to get more attention and recognition than quality "clean" art. I'm not the type to draw explicit stuff, either, so I understand your frustration. In the end, I suppose you have to set out to draw something that you'll be happy with, regardless of the feedback it receives.

When I get burnt out halfway through a project (and it happens a lot), I've found that the best thing to do is to step away from the drawing for a while. If it isn't a commission or school project, then it doesn't really have a deadline, so you might as well take your time and enjoy the process. Work on something else for a while, and when you tire of that, go back to your original drawing and it might not seem so sickening ^^'

Personally, I find your work delightful. There are enough intricate details in your backgrounds to keep me staring for several minutes, and your characters are lively and expressive. Keep it up, and I'll continue to be impressed and envious ;)

The reason I didn't do it this time is because the camera really REALLY lags up my picture, and the picture itself lagged up my photoshop enough. I wouldn't have been able to work with that thing on.

I stay pretty involved in the drawing up until I'm applying the finishing details, because at that point, I'm just looking for mistakes, and wondering whats left to add. That part feels like a chore. But through out the drawing, I just sit thre, draw, and listen to re-run sitcoms of home improvement and seinfeld. :3 I'm happy you like my work, If there was a theme people noticed me for it would be details, and I'm happy for that. I just hope thats not people expect "every single time", because I know that I also like trying new things all the time. One day I may go for realism, and the next I'll go for cell shading.

That can be fixed ya know?

Anyways, I have a couple comments on the picture, the Tigress seems a bit stiff. Her posture is too upright and her eyes made me think she was a mannequin. They're so far apart and are just staring of at nothing. Combined with her rather lifeless facial expression I was trying to decide for awhile if she was real. My other comment is on the black furry on the left side of the picture. His pose is very awkward... I would have suggested adjusting his legs so that one isn't facing straight towards the camera, but obviously it's a bit late to change that now. Also, his hands seem to be a bit small compared to the rest of his body.

Aside from that all I have to say is that I'm going to come and kill you in your sleep and steal your ability to draw backgrounds so freaking well! *shakes fist menacingly*

Damn it Sapph. Now when I look at the picture I can't help but see that. You have ruined art for me, forever.

Or somthing to that effect. In general, it all becomes more hilarious. And isn't that what we all need in life?
