So today wasn't so bad, but tomorrow I'm writing my calculus exam (2 days early), and on wednesday, I'm writing my English exam (also 2 days early) and my Advanced Functions exam (a full 5 days early).

So that's pretty sucky, you might say, but then it's smooth sailing for the summer, right? Well not quite. Thursday morning I'm having surgery to fix my underbite/crooked jaw, so that's a couple of days lost. For the first few days after, I'm on a pure liquid diet, then on a "blenderized" diet. Fortunately, I don't have to get my jaw wired shut, though I still can't actually chew anything. I will get Codeine for the pain, so maybe it won't be too bad, but I noticed this: "Another side effect commonly noticed is the lack of sexual drive..."

Now, this doesn't really worry me, but rather makes me think that maybe my parents are secretly slipping me Codeine in my food. *squinty, suspecting-eyes* Nah, I'm just kidding.

If over the next few weeks, you notice my absence, my rudeness, or my oddness (more so than usual, I mean) it'll probably be because I'm either in crippling pain, or I'm hopped-up on drugs. Just giving you a warning beforehand.

And that's all. Exams suck. Pain sucks.
...
Krypton sucks.

Awwww... I suffer with you man, if that is of any comfort. Bad luck is all I can say. Hope it all works out better than expected though. Or atleast not as terrible as you imagine. And don't worry, I'm sure we'll all forgive you.

Oooo... Ow... That does look like it would suck. I can't really offer much in the way of advice or anything, but I can offer my sympathy. You also get a free "Be a jerk card"for the week then. Drugs can make people do funny things.

Also, Krypton does suck

I think you may regret that decision just a little bit...

Alright then. I demand that you come to me and feed me ice-cream while wearing a frilly dress and ribbons in your hair. Because I know you want to. Also, if you don't do this, you are a bad, bad, very bad friend.

Very bad. Now come.

Hope it all goes well for you and the trouble with surgery and drugs is bearable. If you want to, feel free to be as much of a dick to me as you like :]

Curses! My tactics are ineffective. Now I will go weep. You will be powerless to resist my tears and will be compelled to obey my every whim. Victory will be mine! Bwahahahahaha!!!

Also, thanks to everyone for the support and such. Now, if you'll excuse me... *Weeps salty tears of penultimate sorrow*
...
*Loudly*

Good luck with all that, Sable. I don't envy you, that's for sure. Now, I'm going to try to avoid either terrible innuendo (GD) or inviting horrors upon myself (Spiffman). Hopefully you don't end up missing too much time on here, and we'll always be with you to help you suffer. I mean, help alleviate your suffering. Yeah. Anyhow, good luck with your tests (I do not remember calculus with fondness, personally) and with your surgery. But hey, you won't even recognize yourself when that's all finished.

You know, though, if your parents are slipping you codeine in your food, you don't seem to suffer from that particular side effect; not if your comments here are to be believed. :P

So that wasn't a terrible innuendo, and I'm merely reading one into an inopportune choice of words?

...Oh, sorry about that then, GD.

Even native speakers can't speak English properly. It's a sad state of affairs.
